Hello, I have a question: on my Air jordan retro high og shadow, the label on the inside part of the side, it says 'Made in Vietnam' Is it real or fake? And that square thing on the back is not black stitched in the middle. Should I be worried or not?

There are test to go by, and tests you shouldn't always go by. The smell test is a good one. It needs the right smell. The hourglass test can be tricky. I have a pair of Hyper Royals, right off the SNKRS app, and it isn't exactly hourglass. It is but it's not exaggerated. Tag test is good. The Logo doesn't lie either and the toe box too. Sticthing is tricky, As long as it's not all over the place or really wavy. Getting the color tint right is important. Sole test is good.
There’s a lot of Jordan ones I have that have came right from SNKRS app/NIKE and where the Nike check and the thread lines up are different sometimes there’s space sometimes there’s not also the wholes on toe sometimes are not punctured all the way. That’s just how it works. There’s different Nike factories. quality issues vary a lot now bc of mass production.
The diamond angle stitch that is stitched over the swoosh is questionable. Was at Footlocker and noticed both hi-tops and low-tops had that same stitch going over the swoosh
Everything checks out on my pair except for the leather. I got like a super smooth pair , kinda like the leather on the swoosh on the inside of your pair. It doesn’t look tumbles like the other swoosh on your pair.

Good video but a lot of the fakes I have seen over here in china are 1:1. I have a video you can see releasing in a few weeks that show many stores with the high end copies. I was blown away after i found these shops because the normal shops i use to walk around at did have sneakers with flaws like you mentioned.

The smell is difficult. I never buy fakes. Always directly from Nike. Just got the Stage Haze, copped on release day through the Snkrs app, and they smell really badly of glue. No other shoes from Nike has smelled like factory glue, but I have had shoes from other well known brands and from reputable stores, or the brand it self, that smelled like this. So it’s not always true. Even contacted Nike CS, and they said it’s legit🤷🏾♀️
Me too mine smelled horrible and i followed the legit check and when i got to the smell part i was stuck and confused whether or not to return my shoes because they smelled like glue as well and the smell was pretty strong
You could put 10 pairs for retail jays side by side and find flaws in each one . And even worse some will have pen marks and some will even have glue marks .

I just bought a pair of LJR quality rep BRED 1, they have none of the tall tale signs you pointed out, even down to the stitching. So I guess they’re real IMHO. All I honestly care is a got a great quality shoe and saved over $900 off of resale!!

The stitching on at the swoosh and lace holes will vary depending on the sizing (men, youth, etc.) and style (high or mid). Mids have the stitch peak hitting the swoosh and have 8 holes for the laces. Hope this helped you out!

Not all Jordan 1's laces don't come like that in the bag. Bought a pair of Blue toe from footlocker and my laces wasn't tight like that.
