Im from Mexico , & he said “Cuídalo”(take care of him) to the lady ..I think he genuinely cared for you and probs had a few beers in before he met you, I was laughing imma be honest cause our tios (uncles)are like this😭 They start crying for no reason when they are drunk😂,it’s normal , but by the lady telling you “es borracho” (he’s a drunk) means everyone there knows him for being a drunk but it doesn’t always mean you’re in danger …just stay away since you don’t know him lol, maybe should’ve phrased your title better ….”Visiting the beautiful state of OAXACA, *weird experience during visit * something like that!
First time watching your videos man, love it!! And that guy was just a drunk local guy, nothing sketchy of him just being an alcoholic he cried cause he said he won't ever see you again that's why you don't follow strangers any were on the world, this guy was friendly but you never know, keep up the good work
Nothing sketchy about that. He was just very emotional to make a new friend and was sad that he wasn’t going to see you anymore. He never asked for money and even bought you beer. And he took you back to where he met you. Now you’re making it seem like he was a dangerous person and creating fear for others. Maybe ask someone that speaks the language before posting these clickbait title that create bad images of people/places
He just doesn't see your kind of people on the daily it means alot to him to make a friend from germany bro trust me he was just emotional and couldn't control it he just wishes he had a friend like you in his life that's all but on the other side when people do drink they get emotional and shit but anyways great video bro! keep exploring!
I believe he was trying to be friendly and due to the language barrier, he came off as “creepy”. Thanks for sharing this vid, hope to be visit this city soon

I am from Oaxaca, and even I know that there are some places You need to avoid or at least have someone to look after You, but believe me Oaxaca is a beatiful place to visit
I'm your new subscriber! I'm from Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. I live in Vancouver Canada and I was there for tw9 weeks on vacation. I miss my Oaxaca already and I just returned last week. I love your content and wish you so much more success. You are making me so hungry! ❤🎉🫔🌮
Great to have you back on UA-cam again Mete. As for that old guy, he was very cringe worthy to watch especially his play acting. If you noticed, every time his hands went out to grab yours he was doing it in a way as if he was expecting you to return the favour by putting money back into his. And when that wasn’t working on came the waterworks. I just wished that these people would just be honest and ask for a handout rather than play these stupid games with tourists. Enjoy your trip Mete
From my viewer point of view it seemed like the guy was nice, but a drunkard. The first people he took you to were probably already enjoying some chelas too. Unfortunately I think the language barrier didn't help in this whole situation. I think I heard him say something like he wouldn't get to meet you again. The guy probably wanted more friends. Obviously having lived it, it must have been even more strange for you. Your Spanish reminds me of me in Japan, trying to make myself understood at this one restaurant. You did great!
kinda felt bad for the old man. seems like you might have been his highlight of the day if not the year lol. that guy was just very emotionally drunk. he thought he made a friend lol. i would make the effort to learn the language my guy.
