Yea definitely felt like the knowledge here was minimal and they don’t really know much about the Vfx and cgi process or the different tools that’s are used. Talking about bad cgi and not one bit about render engines
On top of that, marvel isnt the only production house that uses a shit tonne of cgi, they are just well known for it as they shit out movies on a conveyor belt.
VFX is getting worst because of very tight deadlines and budgets, thats it. These artists are treated like absolute shit. Its not because of a "Game Engine". Lmao I work with Unreal, and the tech running it is certifiably insane. Anything quality requires time.
I would also like to add, do a little more research before you talk about a topic. VFX artists do a majority of the grunt work of fixing up fuck ups, and the fact audiences are starting to think CG is lazy is stupid. Live Action CG is a monumental effort, why there's hundreds of artists at the end credits. They work overtime almost the whole year, and now companies like DNEG have started outsourcing because of unionization. This is a nuanced topic and it deserves respect and research.
Unfortunately this video just feels full of uninformed statements based on popular opinions. A lot of what is said is not backed up with evidence and is quite often completely false. Please acquire a better understanding of CGI & VFX before making these type of videos. I do like your production and think this could be an awesome channel some day, just know that talking on subjects you're not informed on will create this type of backlash.
