That is a good question. Either the episodes are a tad out of order, or they went the 2008 clone wars route and made episodes that would have flowed much more naturally earlier in the show but decided to just stick them where they landed.
Samo the Whale is cute. But although, it's too dangerous to stand closer to him. Especially, using him as a submarine. Whales voice are almost equal to 150 DB, standing closer to him, you can DIE. Commander Apetrully, sailor brothers and First Squad, could lost their hearing like long time ago.
