I really think Drag Race should stop having eliminations and sending queens home every episode, becuz then we never really get to know or see anything from the early-out queens... Instead, I think all the queens should stay for the entire season, and get scored on their performance each episode, and then obviously use the scores in the end to narrow it down to the top 3, before Ru finally picks the winner... This way, we'd actually have a chance to see more from, and get to know queens like Dax! Exclamation Point, who I feel got a raw deal...
Just from a business model standpoint, they have to have some for of elimination. It builds drama. It's a successful model and one that reality television was founded on. I feel like they could meet in the middle and do eliminations every two episodes. It'd be spaced out, we'd get to see more of then queens and they still be able to stay true to that successful model. Happy middle? A longer season wouldn't be too bad either....lol
YES! I'd also love for them to mix in a little Big Brother in there and have them all living together like they mentioned here. I think it would even the playing field, give us some compelling television and help us to get to know the queens even better. Plus more drama, I mean come on! But really, neither WoW or Logo have the budget...but then again, the editors are clearly itching to wedge all the drama they can into the episodes. I think they're missing an opportunity for some good tv.
