Girl I can feel your pain. But one thing in business that taught me a very valuable lesson.Don't ever involve your family or your friends in your business. I used to think it was overrated that phrase until I involved my family into my three hundred thousand dollar a year business. Big mistake. The people closest to you who know you inside and out are the first ones to put that knife in your back to benefit their financial gain. Ride it out alone , baby girl , it's a lot easier.
I hate that you had to experience it but I agree I feel like I dogged a bullet.

😩 YESSSS, an hour+ long video!!!! I pray things work out with your sister. I immediately call people out on their rudeness and most times it shocks them back into reality. Also, let me speak to your supervisor works wonders!! Years ago, a former supervisor told me that when people treat you like that it's not able you; it's about them. Great finds and sales!

I'm sort of going through the same thing with my sister. We've been close our whole lives but the last couple of years, we've just grown apart and it's hard to accept. Obviously I still love her and we still talk, but the friendship we used to share is gone and it's really sad. But like you said, your peace is the most important thing and you can't let anything or anyone mess with that. Sending you love!!

Me too. I’ve never been the most successful but I’ve had some setbacks and can’t find a rhythm to get moving. Considering live shows and aging thrifting footage to my social media platforms. I just didn’t know what business model is for me😢

Oakland can be dangerous, even at the bins people have been jumped, cars and wallets stolen, fights...scary. But murdering a child is just a whole other disgusting, tragic level. Its so beautiful that you celebrate her life every year and focus on the happiness and love she brought to you! I'm going to keep watching, i'm hoping things get better for you! ❤🤞

You, as an empath, need to be extra careful about who you share time with and allow into your space. It can be draining and very exhausting ! Bins have definitely spoiled regular goodwill for me too. I now want either 200% sell thru or 40+ with 80% for my 5-10 goodwill buys and flawless. Funny because i also watch surfs and kayway spending 7 to make 25 and smh even though they do really well.

I agree with Goodwill racks pricing. I only look at coats and dresses and belts . Otherwise, it’s not a great place to flip. My best place is a local Christian thrift chain. I’m in Florida. My bins has no air conditioning. It is a true warehouse with the large gaylords. I’m waiting for cold weather so December, lol.
smart! I've never looked at a belt in a thrift. how do you have the patience to do it? they're so boring lol and I'm in texas so I totally feel you. my back is literally drenched and I purposely move slow and go early in the morning but it's 100 by 11am lmao
@@VIAGLO belts, I put all in my hands that are hanging on the hook. I start from the back and drop it as soon as I know I don’t want it. I’ve come away with tons of great belts. People really don’t look at them. Start looking at belts. I love your videos. I keep them on while I’m working. The heat is horrible here, the humidity even worse. I’m in the Tampa area. The bins I would go to is in St. Petersburg. There aren’t many videos in there. They don’t allow you to take pictures or videos in there. The employees are work release.

Really!!! I literally just got 4 $1 charges on Mercari for sunglasses. I been selling sunglasses for two years across 3 platforms and have never had a charge for them. They weigh in at 4 ozs with the box. The first time it happened a while back, I went in and changed every pair of sunglasses on mercari to the next pay scale up and yesterday, boom all 4 boxes I sent out on there last week was dinged for an extra $1. Yet my ebay sales of sunglasses has not had that happen in the 2 yrs.
I feel.as if mercari is dinging people for charges to recoup their money they are loosing from not charging fees. I'm going to watch my packages over the next few weeks (not that I sell a ton on there) but if they keep charging more for shipping, that's going to be questionable.
I think they were doing something shady.

sorry to hear your trip was so awful and your energy is off! i will say i refuse to go to my local post office. I sell anywhere between 10-15 packages a day and i am also HUGE on tone, one lady alllwaysss gives me a hard time and yells at me when I want them to be scanned in but also if i want to drop into the drop box. says I take up too much space in the box, then says I take up too much time at the counter. Wont let me take them into the back cus i dont " have enough to do that" so i finally told her off because it makes no sense to be angry at me for her doing the job she signed up for. needless to say im lucky my delivery man is so kind and hates them too cus he picks them up everyday now for me. love your chatty work with me !
