I burst out into tears towards the end when Elizabeth was interviewed. The way she looked at Maggie and describing what has happened is so touching. Life is amazing and especially life that has gone through difficulties and challenges.
I met Maggie when she came home from the hospital because her parents are friends of my daughter/son in law - my grandkids were only 5 and 7, and they just stared at this tiny creature cradled in her father's big hands. Both Maggie and her sister Grace are miracles. And the work their mum Kate has done on behalf of NICU families is wonderful. Imagine ... Maggie is ready to graduate from High School. Wow. Good for everyone.
You are amazing Maggie, you did a brilliant job interviewing Doctors and nurses who took care of you when you were so little. I loved the last nurse you interviewed. She was the best, very kind and caring, and she remembered taking care of you 💝
This is a WONDERFUL WONDERFUL video. Such important information from many different perspectives. Nice work Kangaroo Reporter Maggie! You are proof that Kangaroo Care works! THANK YOU FOR SHARING KATE & SUNNYBROOK HOSPITAL! Keep up the great work Maggie!
