I did so got confused again thought I'm getting crazy cos I know the puff stitch very well. So when you called it a puff stitch I was thinking of getting my eyes and ears tested hehehe😀
Yes... I did... I love making popcorn stitches and make flowers with them and then put leaves around... makes a very pretty granny square... I was thinking maybe someone taught you it was a "puff" stitch😊👍 A 4-petaled popcorn granny square: l learned more than 20 years ago: Ch 4, join with a sl st to form a loop. Hello! I am so excited I just finished my first coaster and I so enjoyed myself, I have tried before with crochet and got frustrated and gave up, with u I was so enjoyed how you showed your work and how you gave instructions, I am 57 and very thankful I found your video. Thank you so much for taking time and making these videos🙂
my first ‘official’ pattern done!!! after teaching myself to crochet a few months ago, this was a delight to make!! super easy to follow, thank you so so so much. It took me a few days to conquer my first one, but made my second one on a
I've been trying to learn simple projects to try and start a small business, and this helped me so much ❤ I have arthritis, so it's a struggle but I loved being able to rewatch parts that I thought I messed up on!
I just started crocheting a few weeks ago and have tried so many other tutorials only to fail and frog them all, but this one is the first one that actually worked for me. I’m so proud of my first crochet coaster, thank you so much 🫶
Best crochet guide channel ever, I went through so many videos and channels, but it was all confusing and then I found your channel, made my first crochet project with your help ❤
This is the first circle tutorial l am watching without getting confused along the way. Thank you for making it so simple to do. And the popcorn fringe, they are lovely. I will use them on other projects. Yes you kept on calling them puff stitches 😊
I LOVE this pattern so much! I just whipped up 12! In red, white, and blue and now I'm looking at my stash for more colors. Everyone is getting a set if coasters! Thanks for this great pattern. Oh, and my FAVORITE drink is definitely coffee ☕ 😊
Made a set of four for my daughter for her first apartment. She loved them and super easy. Great stash buster. My favorite summer drink is a dirty iced chai latte.
I’m crocheting for the first time in my life and this tutorial was so easy to follow! I wanted to make something simple but cute and this was perfect. Thank you! ❤
Thank you for this pattern…I’m making 200 / 250 coasters for a tea party for next year. I have added this to the list of patterns that I will be using. I love how the popcorns wrap themselves around the bottom of the cup. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much! I just started 2 days ago and this was immensely helpful, though I wanted a coaster without the fringes, I just didn’t make the fringes and sewed in the rest, turned out super cute
I've just made this coaster design! I love it and so easy to follow. I did a magic circle instead, as I find it easier for me and better to tighten. I've never done the popcorn stitch before and the ruffle is great addition AND it sits flat on the back! Thanks 😊
I just made a set of six in different colors and they look so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talents and time with me. I really appreciate it. 😊👍
Easy, beautiful pattern. Your instructions are so clear and I actually developed a new way of crocheting because of your video. It will save me time in the long run. Wish I would have seen your channel sooner!
This was so helpful! I always get confused when it comes to circles but you explained it so well! they will make a great housewarming gift for my bestie
Manggo smoothies is my favorite summer drink. I'm from the Philippines and we had a lot of mangoes here. I'm going to use this coaster when I drink my mango smoothies❤
Made it! It’s so pretty! Thank you so much for explaining it so well. One thing I struggled with was that the coaster kept curling into a bowl but a few strong pulls it was good.
Thank you for this tutorial! I added one row of dc before adding the popcorn “puff” stitch to use as a small doily to set a small lamp on. It turned out great!🎉😂
I really enjoyed this project. I love the way you explained the steps. Thank you so much for guiding me in making my first one! ❤ God bless your crochet journey 🤩
Thank you for the easy to follow pattern. It took me a couple of tries, but I got it. I mistook one single crochet into the next two stitches as double crochets. My favorite drink(s) would be water, milk, tea. GOD loves you and only Jesus.
My favorite drink is an iced tea that I make which is a blend of Raspberry Hibiscus and Blueberry. It's super delicious. I make it in large batches and just enjoy.
I Love your voice and how you explain, I made them perfectly, and then I’m different sizes as a gift for my daughter-in-laws grandmother. Thanks so much, please make more videos! I subscribed! ❤️👏🏼 My favorite summer drink is sweet sun tea 🌞
This vedio was very helpful. Before when I tried to make a coaster I couldn't make it after the 2nd row but this vedio helped complete making a coaster successfully. Thank you.
I don’t do well with practicing just for the sake of practicing. I want to accomplish something. This was my first time ever trying to crochet and I made a coaster! Thank you for the really easy tutorial. Mine looks great and doesn’t look like a beginner made it. Took me maybe 3-4 hours (hard to estimate with kids interrupting lol) but I’m sure it’ll be easier next time since I won’t have to go back and replay certain parts over and over again and slow down the video 😅
My favorite drink is sweet tea. I bring a thermos of it to work every day and I am making these so it isn't so loud when I set the thermos down each time.
My favorite drink is coffee, iced or hot doesn't matter to me. I am drinking one right now in fact while making a new coaster to go with it. Thank you for putting this on here, its super cute and fun to make.
My first completed project! Not sure if I used wrong weight yarn but with the puff stitches it wouldve turned out more like a trivet so I omitted them. Very informative but definitely would have appreciated a slower and clearer explanation of which stitch you were going in. I pretty much guessed on every slip stitch to connect the circle, and we can't see what hole or stitch you are going in. Im sure its obvious to most but as a beginner I was super confused and it was extra challenging because of the guesswork I had to do
I made it, thanks alot ❤your instructions are very helpful and clear 🤌🏻💕 1 question, can we start it with Magic ring and 8DC in the magic circle? Will the results would be same?
You’re a legend! Hope you have time to make placemats size on your next video, my favourite drink is lemon/lime/bitters with lots of ice very summer time from down under.
I made this like 2.5 years ago absolutely obsessed and mine was stained and just old … I never washed it but tonight I made a new one with a 4.25 hook and it’s significantly larger…. I’m not sure how but I liked my smaller one so I guess I’ll be trying it again tomorrow with a smaller hook. It is however my all time favorite coaster pattern I have some for different holidays for my living room but my fave was my nightstand one
It’s totally normal for your personal tension to change over the years. 2 1/2 years ago you were probably a much tighter crocheter and now you’re more loosey goosey, which is great! The same happened to me. The more comfortable I got with crochet, the looser my stitches. Going down a hook size will help with that
Who noticed that I kept calling the popcorn stitch a puff stitch? 🤣 (you have to watch to the end!)
I did so got confused again thought I'm getting crazy cos I know the puff stitch very well. So when you called it a puff stitch I was thinking of getting my eyes and ears tested hehehe😀

Yeah, I was just about to say that in Portuguese we call it popcorn stitch 😂
I love the written corrections to popcorn stitch! 😊

I'm so glad! It bothers me so much that I kept saying puff but I tried to throw a little humor in there to make it better 😂

It’s totally normal for your personal tension to change over the years. 2 1/2 years ago you were probably a much tighter crocheter and now you’re more loosey goosey, which is great! The same happened to me. The more comfortable I got with crochet, the looser my stitches. Going down a hook size will help with that
This was the easiest video to follow. Thank you for sharing. I have already made three!
