Illustrious: There is so much I do not know of the Commander and yet, he’s different from any human I have met. (Remembers seeing a look of determination on a young man’s face as he boards his F-22 and takes off with the fleet to fight the Red Axis and the Sirens) His determination, his moves, his reason for taking a personal role in battle makes him different. Any mass produced fleet of the Red Axis were immediately in ruins when he’s in the air and Red Axis took to calling him by the three lines on his tail - Three Strikes. It’s more apparent when a bond was formed between him and Enterprise. Her class as a carrier made her the equivalent of a repair ship specifically for aircraft. It seems as though with every battle they fought in together, the more this bond grew and I knew that they were not so different. They were the best of the best, a powerful ship who is stubborn to go into battle despite battle damage and an ace pilot who once fell through hard times and climbed back up. (An image of Enterprise on the deck as an F-22 breaks through the clouds next to her) Enterprise and Trigger, The Grey Ghost and The Three Strikes Of Seas and Skies.
@@ph89787 . Good thing she and her sisters including Victorious and Formidable has an armoured flight deck not like the American carriers like what happened to the USS Franklin.
HMS Illustrious was the oldest ship in the fleet at the time of her decommission. She was supposed to be kept as a floating museum and monument to the Royal Navy. But she got scrapped despite the petition. What they did to that poor ship was more than a tragedy, it was a monstrosity. She was as much a hero as the men that served on her. Same with HMS Warspite. At least Warspite got in a "final word" before the end.
The appeal pf voice acting it seems, Mostly perfect, Some worst. I dont watch anime watch, I also watch in EN Dub if available, No EN Dub? I can watch JP Dub (with EN Subs of course)
Best waifu is illustrious 😍

Lady Lusty as I call her is the one who launched the surprise attack on the Italian battleships whilst they're at anchor at Taranto harbor.
Not to mention the absolute beating by Fliegerkorps X in January 1941.
@@ph89787. That's true. There's a picture of her with heavy battle damage.
@@andrewmontgomery5621 I think I saw that and oh boy did that look brutal.

@@andrewmontgomery5621 definitely. As much as I love the Yorktown and Essex-Class. They wouldn’t have been able to survive that level of damage.
