M35A2 Deuce and a half Fire Truck

Hello everyone. This video shows the 1971 AM General M35A2 truck I'm buying, that was owned first by the military, then by the US Forestry Service, and used by the Cordova, NC Fire Dept. It's coming to me with the original military title .I'm purchasing it from Delk's Military Surplus, located just outside Asheboro, NC. They have a website. I spoke with one of the firefighters at Cordova, and he told me this truck runs like a top. I'm naming her Ruby Ray, because ruby is my birthstone, and Drill Instructor James Ray was my Scoutmaster. Looks like a decent truck. I have a 1970 Kaiser non-turbo motor like your that saw fire service. Original coal rollers 👍.

You want to remake it as brush and wildland firefighting tanker you can always put a new tank and hose reel sets on them and a tank for fire retardant phos-chek and class a firefighting foams as well
