Hello my friends. The idea I'm using for this channel, at least to begin with, involves setting up and using all the different pieces of US military equipment that I own which burn fuel during use. I've decided it could help other people to see some of these things in action, and possibly help to understand certain things that would be most easily understood by watching it in video format. As an example, I own a complete US Yukon stove tent heater that burns coal, gas, and wood. I was always afraid to fire it up using the gas burner, until I came across a video on UA-cam of a guy setting his up and using it. That's when I decided to start making vids. Please leave questions or comments, and I will be happy to answer. Hope you enjoy! My next video will cover setting up and using a gasoline fired Immersion heater, used to bring a metal trash can filled with water to a boil, so the soldiers could dip their mess kits in it for sterilization.

In this video I'll be resawing some 12"w and 6"w 8/4 cherry to make bookmatched drawer fronts for a double vanity in Adam and Becca's master bathroom. Unfortunately the last 44 seconds of the video got cut off, so you don't get to see the camera pan over the grain pattern, and then me thanking you for watching, and asking for the likes and subs!

Переглядів 2,4 тис.4 роки тому
Hello everyone. This video shows the 1971 AM General M35A2 truck I'm buying, that was owned first by the military, then by the US Forestry Service, and used by the Cordova, NC Fire Dept. It's coming to me with the original military title .I'm purchasing it from Delk's Military Surplus, located just outside Asheboro, NC. They have a website. I spoke with one of the firefighters at Cordova, and h...

Im gonna buy one!
Here five years later. How is this bad boy holding up. I’m a huge WW2 gear collector. Talk about made in America.
i hate those stoves, when we switched to them we had to re-train and change our whole setup. it was a mess for a long time.
hello, thanks for your video is the band saw wired for 220 or 110 ?
You want to remake it as brush and wildland firefighting tanker you can always put a new tank and hose reel sets on them and a tank for fire retardant phos-chek and class a firefighting foams as well
My dad owned a 1980 m35 4 ton fire truck he got at his fire department’s silent auction
Sir how much price
You have to hold down the power button for about a minute to get it started
Is there anyway to convert these to propane?
I love those babies
Did you ever find the problem with your MBU V3? Sounded like it fired then went out.
That was a great truck in our fleet seen some action!
Congratulations, you will love her. Nothing like a deuce!!! That multifuel engine is EOD ready
Are they propane fuel?
Sorry about the screen being turned sideways! OOPS!
Have to kick the President props, because the speakers at the event were turned up so nice and loud! Reminded me of when I saw KISS in '77 at the Hampton Coliseum.
Looks like a decent truck. I have a 1970 Kaiser non-turbo motor like your that saw fire service. Original coal rollers 👍.
She's a beauty!
Thanks bro!
Nice
What's the fuel source?
Gasoline was the traditional fuel but idk what he’s using
Diesel is whats used in these MBU's I have a dozen purchased recently. Many uses for that bad boy. Pressure cooking/canning outdoors to keep the heat out of your house in the summer.Old fashioned "hog scalding or good chicken plucking. Set up a food truck @@curiousentertainment3008
That is going to be a fantastic table top. And I love the bandsaw
Thanks for watching homie!
Of course after watching it, I realize I should have turned one set or the other around right off the bat, and the mismatching could've been avoided, lol.
I just bought one at auction. It will be delivered tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
Cool! I hope you enjoy it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for watching :)
How did the turkey come out? What were your heat settings?, How long did you cook it? and what were any lessons learned if at all? Fun video.
It came out perfectly. We used the oven thermometer, as well as a probe thermometer. I forget the temp we cooked it to, but it was perfectly cooked. I think we cooked for about 2 hrs. Once the meat came up to the proper temp, we knew it was done. So for me the lesson learned was using both thermometers to ensure success. Thanks for watching. I've posted a couple more vids as well.
Just regular ole' diesel.
What fuel were you using in it?
Good ole diesel.
Thanks Martina! :)
Actually, glad you brought that up. The original burners(burner unit, gasoline, model M2), were volatile and dangerous, so the military began using this, the MBU v3(modern burner unit), which is obviously electronically controlled, burns JP-8(jet fuel), and diesel. It's an incredibly efficient machine! It has an automatic shutoff, an onboard compressor, and runs on 24v DC. Got the burner off eBay for $76+shipping! With 0 hrs. used--still new :)
Hello. Did you purchase the M59 off ebay as well?
