I love the Freetress Deep Twist Crochet hair. The first two times I wore this hair, I wore it in a shoulder-length bob. I apply mousse, double strand twist at night , put a silk bonnet on. Next morning, I untwist the hair, pull it apart and I'm good to go.
YESS!!! The OG for the win. This hair is very economical and never fails at serving looks! Now it's some maintenance. But it's ole faithful for the crochet community ❤️
Freetress deep twist & beach curl have never failed me and were my only installs for 3yrs (kept it in for 6wks at a time with a 1wk break in between) before i loc’d my hair in April ❤️
Did you notice a lot of hair growth when you did it? What was length retention like for you?
Used mine for tree braids and I love the hair. Mixed #4,27,613, and a sprinkle of 30. Thank you Lia!!!
Just installed this hair yesterday. I combed through the hair before separating it. I had no tangles with separation. I prefer separating my own sections. Hair is soft and I love it!!
You did great. Some tips I have found which you may have already in regards to the hair. 1 is socking the hair over night for a treatment it makes seperating the hair easier as well (applecider vinegar, shampoo & conditioner) soke for a min 4 hours, rinse and hang dry. 2 is laundry softner and water in a spray bottle, because the synthetic material it helps manage the frizz and keep the defined curls (scentless would probably be best) Its been great watching your videos.
Yup this was one of the first hairs I tried because of you and literally it became my hair for at least 1 year straight LOL
Hey Lia! Thank you for revisiting this hair. I use it all the time for my daughter in college and it lasts her 6 weeks. It didn’t tangle as much I should say. The one I buy usually comes pre- separated and looped, and comes three in a bundle. Didn’t know they have it in bulk. As always, it looked amazing 💕

So glad I stumbled on this video. I have been thinking of installing this hair for the fall but I wanted to remind myself how the the curl patterns looked like bc I haven't used this hair in years!
I recently crocheted my own hair using this hair. I loved the look but I struggled trying to separate and install. I know better next time. Your hair looks great as usual, I always appreciate your tips.

I wasn't always on board for Freetress hair. It's tangles alot and requires more maintenance. It always seems super big hair to me as well. But I do have a few packs and think I may try and go back to see how it feels now. Thanks for the video can't wait for the review of this hair.
I've never tried this one. I've been doing crochet back to back since 2017 but use only 2 types. I see this in the shops in London all the time though. Going to try it next 🇬🇭🇬🇧 Thanks very much

I went to the salon to get my crochet weave done. The price was reasonable from what I hear. She was fast. My hair was shampooed and deep conditioned with quality products. But I am not enjoying her install. The back part of the braids are too tight and I have bumps and they itch and I know I'm going to get some thinning. Thank God it's at the nape of my neck rather than my edges. My parts are huge and the braids are so visible on the parting line. It looks like weave tracks without a closure. If I don't keep the hair slightly covering my face it looks like I have braids with extensions. When I take these out I'm going to try my next install myself. I didn't before because I am not sure I have the arm stamina needed to keep my arms up. I haven't spent more than a few minutes in my own hair in years. My arms are out of practice. But I appreciate you showing us. I'm watching as many as your videos as I have time to do so.
This used to be my favorite crochet hair but my last 2 deep.twist installs have been horrendous😩😩. It became so ratty so quickly. Not sure if I kept getting a bad batch. My NEW fave is Miracle Curl. That hair id superb👌🏾👌🏾

I tried crochet in T30 for the first time ever. I have only done 1B. Well let me tell you, I am obsessed. I want to try every color now lol. I may have to give deep twist another try but in the color you used. Deep twist doesn’t last very long for me. Only about 4 weeks before it gets super tangled. If I had twisted it up at night it probably could have lasted me 6 weeks.

Hey love your honest videos L.L. Something that helps me always with bulk hair is a spray bottle of water or water w/conditioner to spray on your hair while putting in. Sometimes putting product on freetress hair Matt's it pretty bad. I haven't put a freetress hair in my head in years because of it. Looks great thus far can't wait till the end to hear how you feel after experiencing other hairs since then. I already know you will not feel the same. Only because you really had nothing else to compare it to. At least that's hiw I felt when using freetress hairs.

Hair is great use it regularly how ever I do get a bad batch but wash it first a nc install is a little bit damp no mouse makes it stiff

I am taking down the Amazon boho braids and trying freetress beach curl for tne first time !
Wearing this now with my tree braids. 3 wks so far and I just makes sure I finger detangle with water and moose. If you cut the ends a little it’s easier to separate when installing.

Am I doing something wrong? This hair is frizzy right away. I've tried Lotta body mousse and also Cantu mousse and no luck. It's cute but killing my vibe and I feel like a waste of my money. How do I make it look fresh for a birthday party later today?

Do you have a video on how you sew down the 10 braids? I’ve been trying to thread my braids to the next braid and it’s not a secure method for my crochet foundation. I’ve decided to go purchase weave needle and thread. Thank you
U can also use water to separate the strands.

Can you comb the hair before installation for easier separation? I find that helpful with some crochet hair projects I do.

Does the hair tangle up
I used this hair for microbraids for years. Never had a problem with tangling or matting, even though it’s synthetic. I’ll be using it again soon.
What shade u wear in mac?
I get this far with my installs and then start cutting and before I know it I have cut it into a bob never fails :/

Only seen bulk hair? What are you considering bulk hair? Bulk hair is where the sections aren’t predetermined so you have to pull the hair apart and define how much to use just like braiders do with braiding hair. I’ve probably only used one hair like that in my 7 year hair journey. Check out any of my videos if you want to see all the non- bulk hair

Probably more coarse than silky
Just make sure you wash the hair before you use it .it helps alot because its cemical on it so put it in warm water and soap pl7s it says it on the tag
Agree, I don’t think easy any of the hair I install on this channel since I review the hair as is but definitely suggest it for people with sensitive scalp.

My first time using a longer loose curl...and I'm in love.. it was hard to install for me..I'm use to the kinky curl.curly.. I'll say.....

When I was done installing..I was like..who this lady???.. I'm so in love.. looking at the review..I did use mouse for the install and Hawaiian silky immediately after..I'm now on week 4 and it's still lovely..but I must say..I do detangle every single night..with 6 twist and a satin bonnet..I also use Hawaiian silky during the twist take down every morning.. I'm pretty much use to maintaining my hair nightly anyway so it's no big deal.. I bought all of the Hawaiian silky bottles at my local store at one time..and I went back to Sam's beauty and purchased different colors

Thank you for this video.....I should've watched it b4 I did my hair....I probably wasted a whole pack of hair because I couldn't separate it without tangling it. I also should have triple knotted it because my knots won't stay tight....oh well.....live and learn.
