Doc shows that you can paint over stain with great results. He also does some final work on the chicken coop. The baby chicks are growing fast and need to moved to a large house. Next week the chickens will move out to the new house / coop.

Doc we always have time to go fishing - beautiful bass. You know what they say, a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work!! For chigger prevention we always filled a sock with sulphur , tied it off, and dusted (patted) our ankles, sock edges and waste bands of pants - would go home chigger free and we were working in some chigger ridden areas.😀
Yes, panty hose with treatment was the rule in Texas... problem is ticks as well. Permethrin actually KILLS both.

Doc make sure you treat the area where the chickens are at for bugs. . If you haven’t yet. Looks fantastic.
They take care of that. Actually want the bugs for them to eat.

looking good as always. I am not sure how my lawn restoration is going to look after this drought we have up here in North Carolina and my county is under a water usage policy. We shall see. I wish I could have chickens but HOA and ignorance keep us from having "the best organic insecticide"
love bass fishing....but it always seemed like bass have a stronger "fish" smell vs walleye or crappie
We really did not have much of a winter this year so the ticks have been horrible. I don't blame you for wearing socks with repellent on them. We're in the same boat rain wise, a tenth of an inch in the past three weeks. Only one guy in our neighborhood has a totally green yard, he'll probably have a $400 water bill for his efforts.
You should load the bottom with humichar so when the chickens poop you have fertilizer
