@@davidarvingumazon5024 uh... Chat GPT is not really a good measurement for any comparisons of this type as the information it's collecting and drawing from is generally sourced by information outside the original content which is biased massively either positively or negatively sometimes evening out... but in terms of Subaru it's certainly going to massively treat him negatively as most sources ChatGPT does draw from on average aren't actually as Re:Zero positive. Because Re:Zero and Subaru are actually more commonly praised in content like youtube videos and similar structed media, but on average negatively represented through media such as the news, and most animemanga + light novel ranking and description services. And as you can probably assume, ChatGPT not just much more heavily relies upon the aspect of news articles and ranking services that are based much more on written out information by someone who's job necessitates that they explain more based on a simplified consensus. Which is already Very noticeably negatively beneficial in terms of writing for Subaru and Re:Zero. But even that is absolutely nothing compared to the insane gap when it comes to intellect scaling for Subaru. Like unless the one guy who was going to make the Subaru document has which I've never seen or heard about yet, then almost all written out information about Subaru's intelligence is only built of very simplified analysis (And I mean like horribly simplified considering how indepth and complex Subaru actually is). That analysis too generally takes a bite out of the nature of the story, and even more the actual event. Sometimes actually knocking something smart into something dumb or vice versa. Even more Many times I've directly seen just blatantly false information, or unreasonable assumptions to make a point of something someone desperately wanted to prove purely because they wanted to attention, and didn't like Subaru, giving them an opportunity to abuse it for clout. Ayanokoji and COTE on the other hand likely has a massive bias in their favor in those metrics because it functions relatively on the reverse of Re:Zero in that, more so that the indepth analysis of youtube videos would actually drag it down in ChatGPT's analysis due to it needing to pick and choose and compare based on much more conflicting and inconsistent information which is also a problem when looking for a positive remark for a service such as ChatGPT as it'd actually force simplistic statements to counteract the massive misconstrued/messy information into a simplified analysis. Or inversely if it didn't sample enough points of data. Every single statement made by ChatGPT would be inconsistent and on average would absolutely misplace it's statements and analysis on the positive or negative aspects, making the data worse and thus the conclusion/result worse too. News wise and Detailed services wise Ayanokoji/COTE are going to directly be advantaged as a simplified and objective analysis of the show is naturally going to be in it's favor as regardless of the quality of the series, or it's actual intellectual aspects. The borderline simplistic and less indepth analysis of the show would be more positive as that is literally the subgenre and plot wise intent to highlight that specific aspect in COTE whereas that's much less relevant as a whole in Re:Zero. Which doesn't make one win in that situation either, as a complex in-depth series with a focus on something else can still have more intelligent characters than a less in depth story with a focus on said intelligence. Yet the story with less intelligent characters will have a natural bias in ChatGPT due to the nature of it's plot and how that intelligence is going to be more commonly portrayed in each media which have weighted value in ChatGPT, plus some information can be completely kept unused by ChatGPT if it is not cared about in the right media type. But even so too, we have to keep in mind, that doesn't mean that ChatGPT will be inherently wrong. But that it's prone to many many mistakes, unfair explanations or understandings. more than most people seem to realize. Which I just wanted to mention as the basic method at which it described Subaru's adaptability wasn't technically wrong ... but it was unfair and biased making a very noticeably worse perspective on Subaru that if you haven't analyzed it properly yourself you're definitely not going to understand Subaru's actual capabilities and relative skill level. The wording or focuses, are massive killers in ChatGPT, and should not be used as reasoning, but maybe as a basis to start your thought process. TLDR; ChatGPT is biased based on how plot types are utilized in different media types. Which is applicable both here, and in other debates as well. Therefore ChatGPT shouldn't be used for a point, but only a simplified perspective and thought process starter.
@@TheMangaWasBetter77786 He doesn’t have rbd for the scd match, but he gets experience. That’s genuinely a brain dead take. I can see you grasping at straws. If Subaru doesn’t get his experiences, than Ayanokoji doesn’t get anything from his past either.
@danielcraftanimations1239 No, being smart and being intelligent are 2 different things. Smart is the ability to apply knowledge and skills in a creative way. Intelligent is the capacity for abstract thought, understanding, communication, reasoning and learning.
People talking about how other people, like Ayanokoji, would be much better than Subaru with RBD, but this isn't the case. It's more likely that almost everyone with RBD would avoid so hard to use it. And if they were in a place similar to Subaru, they would just find a way to avoid all the trouble and live peacefully, since they don't have the willpower necessary to use this power. Even if they had, they wouldn't have many reasons to use it the way Subaru does. Maybe they would use it in a better way in an individual scale, but in a macro, nuh-uh.
@@PsychoticMurderer not necessarily. For example, you may be some Superman and face some sudden disaster. Would you be able to save everyone? Even those who already died? Notice, this is a question only for a hero, but for people like Johan, or whoever be, this question couldn't matter less for them, not only this, but considering the pain of death, even those who wish and need the informations that RBD can give wouldn't have the amount of will necessary to take the true advantage of this power, it will be a more a question of unexpected circumstances rather than expected circumstances, people possing RBD would unlikely be willing to put himself through the frontlines and take risks even those who put others in front of them like Shirou And of course, you can write a character like Subaru, but he can be good as him? I mean, in writting. You can create a character stronger than Goku, but, who cares. I mean, I'm trying to say that Subaru is special, the characterization by RBD can prove that. He may not be a typical hero, but he knows the people who needs to be saved, and he will take the risks to save them and he manages to do it in the truest way instead of becoming more distant with others considering the nature of Subaru's time travelling wich isolates him from the others, that's why the RBD suits him better.
@@PsychoticMurderer more like RBD would be used in a more self serving way, which also keeps the user out of harm from big conflicts like the witches cult
@flur9430 im not particularly too informed on all the lore, but does he need to save everyone in order to progress or something? Why does it matter if they die or not? Or rather you're suggesting Subaru is an overall more suited character for rbd because of his sense of justice, his will to go through pain just to save everyone. But how does that make him any more equipped for it? Are you saying that's the best way to get use out of rbd? I apologise if I sound oddly immoral here, but I don't see how saving everyone is putting it to use in an advantageous way, you're just preventing the death for a later date. Although I suppose saving them would benefit, by using them to defeat various opponents, using them in all sorts of ways for further advantage. To be honest I would say it just depends on your overall goal, what you intend to achieve at the end of it all, what exactly it is that you want. For someone who has no desire to go through pain for their own benefit or others, rbd may not exactly be intended for them.
@flur9430 so I suppose I can agree with you in a sense that Subaru is indeed very well suited for rbd but I definitely don't agree that he would be the most best suited for it, definitely putting return by death to good use though.
This is definitely a comission. A big one infact, No one in their right mind would compare subaru to ayanokoji 😂. Comparing subaru to Goku in intelligence would be fair
Subaru was the obvious dub all Kiyotaka has is his intelligence and combat skills, but Subaru has WAY better manipulation feats considering he manipulated Reinhard in Greed who has the Divine Protection to READ MINDS and I guarantee in those like 400 pages of Divin protections he has one against manipulation
subaru honestly just has better feats than ayanokoji, like his what if route where he defeats reinhart. that man is faster than light and is literally favored by god but still lost to subaru. ayanokoji has outsmarted literal high schoolers
reinhardt didnt lose to subaru physically but in a mental sense so its not much of a feat thatn you think it kight be tho it is still pretty impressive that ehw iped awya what reinhardt stood for because he couldnt wipe away reinhardt himself
Why does everyone like to use narrative fallacies to determine who has better feats. Not denying that Subaru has better feats but it’s like saying that light is smarter than tokuchi cuz he outsmarted god, the best detective in the world meanwhile Tokuchi only plays baseball
😭 Are you talking about wrath and if so, he didn't beat him. If your talking about greed, he didn't physically fight him or even defeat him, he hasn't ever come close to defeating him 😭
Strategy goes to subaru low diff this dude planed and the take over of playdes watchtower witch required beating the archbishops of gluttony, raied van Astrea, satella, death knights, and Shalu. All while he had lost his memories and when regaining his memories he had to expirense ever death up to that point and once regaining his memories cleared the watchtower first try. This was considered to be impossible and even righnhadt was unsuccessful in clearing the watchtower and righnhadt is the strongest in the series by a mile and anything he can't do is considered impossible to do
Your actually stupid, did u take into consideration that he has had near infinite amount of time to process said plan? It isn’t that impressive, at a base line 1 life do you really think sub would out strategize anakoji?
@@cuthisface I'm not sure about that. Can Kiyo hold that mental stress and all the shit Subaru went through? Kiyo is insane but Subaru's mental fortitude is borderline limitless. Kiyo would find it's end in arc 4, incapable of helping Emilia with her problems, the reason of that is not having enough information and enough sentimental empathy to help her. Even if he helped her, he wouldn't save her like Subaru did, he would make her an emotionless doll that would just face the trials without fighting her traumas, just bearing it. Also arc 5 would be a bloodbath. Without Subaru's speech which was done from the bottom on his heart, with his human understanding and empathy, sensation that Kiyo can't emulate even if he wants, all the people in the city would die victim of Sirius authority. Damn, even the white whale battle might be impossible for him, he has no time to study the whale attitude and do the wager that defies despair
@@bsh1062 nah, not at all, kiyo already did that for horikita, Subaru had the advantage of knowing her for months so its not that impressive, also considering kiyo didn't show emotion when he was stabbed with a knife and left his humanity behind when he was a literal toddler, taking subaru's place won't be a problem, considering that subaru was just an ordinary person before reincarnating. You also made a serious error here assuming that he can't emulate human understanding and empathy when he's already done that numerous times, kiyo would have gone through what subaru went through with much relative ease
Tbh, many people say that if koji was in re zero, he would be way better, but it just isn't true. Koji would never have met Emilia (due to either not going into the alley or not needing her help), meaning he would be in a 1-2 hr long death loop. This is cause puck would have destroyed everything in a HUGE radius after Emilia's death in the loot house. Since Emilia would never meet him, he would never know what to do to survive the first day (which is to make sure she doesn't die). If he tried to leave before the event happened, he probably wouldn't make it due to how big the frozen area would be. Koji might be smart and strong, but he is not surviving near absolute zero temperatures. 💀💀
Not really, Reinhard would've jumped in way faster if Emilia died and stopped puck before he could do considerable damage. The reason he was late in Arc 3's other loops was cause he was really far away by that point.
@@aniphoenix9474 How would Reinhardt know where Emilia is? I don't think he has a divine protection that allows him to sense when and where somebody died (Although I wouldn't be surprised if he did).

@@MartinSutovec511 Ah that actually is a great idea as well good luck to Koji trying to miniplate Todd tho lol since I def believe Todd got some kind of divine protection that helps him against manipulation or he might naturally be good at sniffing up attentions of others.
Not on either character's side, though I do like re:zero more, It is extremely unfair to score his if stories along with the main and canon story. Also must realize that most of his accomplishments were heavily assisted by other characters' strength, intelligence, tactics and most importantly emotional support. The entire reason for the if stories is because suburo gave up and surrendered to other sins due to a lack of willpower, yes he had moments where he pushed himself at times but its due to the previous events only he remembers that help drive him in those moments, if he remained alone hed get nowhere, its why I love the story since it shows though someone has countless redos, something we all wish once an awhile we could perform, its a story about a normal human slowly growing and gaining new bonds to overcome the obstacles. Also his understanding of emotions is pretty normal, I mean he's a normal teen, which you can see in arcs 1-3. Where hes failed to notice how others felt when pushing his opinions and beliefs onto people. Imo this video is wildly unfair and inaccurate since it makes suburu seem unreachable when the author designed him to be relatable showing that even through tough trials like us, he can reach incredible growth which is why the envy route is the canon route because suburu does not want to be left behind by everyone, he wants to grow strong in his own way to be able to stand with everyone, become understanding so he can be there for everyone, become complete so he can save the one he loves deeply. he's just a lost teen trying to grow from zero.
this is a misunderstanding ifstories are not usually caused by Subaru's sin. Pride: He couldn't make a feminine voice when he called for help. and that's why Reinhard didn't come. Wrath: He decided not to forgive those who killed and tortured him. Sloth: Rem's choice. Greed: He basically sacrificed himself to save everyone. In fact, he saved thousands more people than canon Subaru. Gluttony: He couldn't find his own death books or Ram went too far. unclear. Lust: Bullshit. seriously, it's explained. he got bored and took control. he ran the country so well that they eventually agreed to let him be in control.
@@osmanturk7615 okay you are just wrong what? The if stories are due to subaru's choice changing. NOT other characters. For example in pride it's not that he "couldn'tr mnake a feminine voice" he just DIDN'T choose to call for help at all.

the entire premis puts koji in a huge disadvange to begin with if we being honest if we want to truly gauge suburus intellegence we have to get rid of all his return by death feats because it litteraly impossible to learn from the same experience play by play twice now imagine koji has return by death he would lowkey die only afraction of the time subru did and probably be comeing out better too
@yan1097 Not really, Because Return by Death actually doesn't have any influence in Subaru's intelligence. Plus it'd be massively unfair to actually remove that from Subaru as not just is Subaru's situation immeasurably more intense than Ayanokoji's, but all Subaru's feats generally come after a loop as prior to the loops there's not even information available for Subaru to know something is up or wrong, much less do something about it. Much less Return by death doesn't actually affect Subaru's intellectual abilities, it's just a metric of information gathering and testing... So besides success rate strategy and planning wise it doesn't actually make much difference. And actually the change on success rate isn't that intense as without RBD we're just taking him having 0 wins cause he died before the start was even begun. With RBD the number remains low but not 0 because now we count his genuine consistency rather than strategies and plans based on little to no information against impossibly high odds. Arc 1: Subaru had a massive Bias about how things were supposed to be based on the basis of fiction he consumed which are literally the only pieces of information he had prior that he could have connected anything with. Most of that information wasn't actually that helpful in the grand scheme of things, and to some degree actually just gave him false beliefs making it harder on him then someone who likely wasn't influenced by that media. Much less, when he died he had no metric to do anything against Elsa, Not just from an immeasurable stat difference, but also being sneak attacked prior to really knowing anything was wrong. All though one could make the argument he was stupid for going into the building at night, but likely him going in would have had to occur either way. The only difference is that he logically should have gone in with Emilia, but in the end the result wouldn't have changed as she'd have once again died prior to even knowing there was an assassin right there. In the end it was just a meh level antifeat of preparation and risk calculation (Both intellectually and Physically). Which as an antifeat is actually weakened due to the massive pregiven biases and Subaru's current lack of knowledge or way to get any knowledge. Though it still serves as a minor antifeat in those categories, because the lack of any precaution was objectively reckless even if less so no matter how biased you are. (I'll leave it at this as I could go more indepth.) Arc 2: First death occurred by a curse put on Subaru that had absolutely no signs of it's existence, and no metric to have saved yourself based on actual intelligence correlated to Subaru's situation. Really the only avoidable metric for that would be a personality not intelligence based metric. Unless you really desperately want to argue a very weak corner case that Subaru is stupid for wanting to pet a dog, or stupid because he didn't instantaneously react to it's horribly quick change from enjoyment to a bite. Which again there's not really much information available to have drawn that conclusion, best case you just react fast or just aren't like that personality wise, but isn't really anything intellectual wise. Arc 3: Subaru was already unstable and emotionally outlashing in stupid ways prior to the true issues of the arc, making any antifeat of his massively less problematic. Actually, really the only fair antifeats I can think of right now would be his EM, Stress Tolerance, and patience. Which again antifeat if we're taking Subaru as a whole, but comparatively to Ayanokoji these antifeats don't even really make much if any difference to the already massive gap in Subaru's favor. Also because most of those feats for Subaru are actually consistently developed and increased, comparatively to Koji who hasn't actually really current relevant story wise developed intellectually in those specific categories at all primarily based on a lack of narrative and situational need. Even more based on his lack of even beginning to reach the level Subaru has there's no logical argument that could actually put him to even close to that level. Genuinely none unless certain things I both inferred and have heard about Koji are explicitly wrong. As he's never had to or even needed to be pushed to that level, not even as a child in the white room was the need for situational and personal adaptability comparatively close to some of Subaru's things. Lot's of people like to overstate Koji's adaptability based on his narrative statements, and nicknames. But many people don't seem to recognize Subaru's absolutely insane adaptability too, which is required because even Subaru's perseverance is almost irrelevant if his situational and personal adaptability wasn't off the charts, because not giving up doesn't do anything but mark you as Insane if you can't adapt and change to your environment both physically and actions wise... but also Introspectively. And that introspective growth is one of Subaru's insane skills after arc 3, and has only been getting better as Subaru's developed and gone on through later arcs. Now I also want to state for sake of truthfulness and full transparency, I have never actually read COTE LN's nor even properly watched the anime, but instead I've watched many episode recaps, LN chapters read outs and explanations, and chapter discussions, as well as watching and thinking through comparisons of characters based on both people who seem to bias positively and negatively on the story and characters. So I won't even act like I am definitely right, but rather my understanding, inferences, and knowledge is being built and shared based upon the community and other's understanding, with my own inferences and reasoning built on top of those to reason them out more in order to try to make things more logical, and sound/fit better into what would/should fit proper skilled writing. And I decided it's been far too long since I've actually read a proper new book series, so I need to get myself back into reading, and this way I can finally start actually giving quality feedback on these topics more on Ayanokoji's side rather than just other characters like Subaru or Light. So, does anyone know if there's a good way for me to read the COTE light novels free or at least at a reasonably cheap price, cause I know books can be expensive, particularly LN's cause they're relatively average priced to the books I usually get, and are noticeably smaller, and split into much larger series with many books.

Great video! However, I think it would have been better to focus on the intricacy and complexity of feats like manipulation and strategy when scaling intelligence, rather than relying on the stakes or the end result. This approach provides a fairer way to evaluate intelligent characters. For instance, we can't just say Subaru is better at outsmarting than Tokuchi or Akiyama simply because he’s facing monsters and freaks of nature in high-stakes situations or because the end result of his strategy is excellent despite dealing with supernatural beings. For example, when you mentioned Subaru emotionally manipulating Emilia, it’s not as impressive as it might seem at first. He had the advantage of spending months under the same roof with her, which gave him plenty of time to understand her vulnerabilities and what could guilt-trip her. Using that knowledge to manipulate her isn’t as remarkable when you consider the advantages he had. By this logic, Subaru would be considered the best at outsmarting in anime simply because he faces witches and cultists, which is, of course, not true.
He should have talked more about the IF routes for manipulation feats: Greed ability to manipulate Reinhard someone who has the ability to read minds and emotions with his divine protections is much better then all main version manipulation feats especially when you consider that the author said that knowing what Reinhard thinks in arc 1 is a spolier for the story And Gluttony having the mind of everyone he killed gives him alot of experience because he has all of their feats in manipulation.
@ranmoses2553 Greed isn’t as great as you think he is. He had the mentality of trial-and-error, he simply tried again and again and eventually landed that 1-in-a-million roll, he also had Echidna giving him advice. If we were to scale, he would be ranked lower than Envybaru due to a lack of feats.
If Ayanokoji had been sent to another world instead of Subaru, he wouldn't have even learned that he had the power to rewind time through death because he would never have been killed. AyanoGOD
If he doesn't save Emilia, he will die because of Puck. Subaru had no choice but to save Emilia in arc1. and koji can never withstand RBD. he breaks at the first death. this is not a normal death. even louis arneb couldn't withstand it. She broke with two rbds. that girl was a being with the minds and memories of hundreds of thousands of people. she maintained her existence with pure will. if she couldn't withstand it, koji has no chance.
In essence, Subaru wins in a battle of wits because he has Isekai hacks supporting him, making him more knowledgable and flexible? Here is what I think: - Stakes make no difference between those characters. Sure, Subaru has more at stake, but he also has essentially infinite attempts, failing over and over, it makes Stakes irrelevant as long as he can just "reset" and try something else, and doesn't lose his mind in the process - In a battle of wits, I have a hard time imagining Ayanokoji losing to Subaru unless Subaru has his Isekai Cheats, in which case no non-cheat character has a chance. Essentially, it comes down to what situation these characters face off in. Subaru wins if the situation is one in which he can fully utilize his cheat powers, but in any situation that he cannot, I just don't see him surpass Ayanokoji on the spot.
Yeah, I do think using works like the Greed and Gluttony IF puts Subaru in an unfair advantage. In saying that, Arcs 7 and 8 Subaru should've been enough to make up for it. Nucha didn't use it for the video though.
This is definitely a comission. A big one infact, No one in their right mind would compare subaru to ayanokoji 😂. Props to you for figuring out a way to make the comparison entertainable.
Short answer is Subaru can not ve beaten. Long answer is: you see, subaru is ass, everyone will beat him, but because he's got rebirth, while he'll lose countless times, eventually he will, and when he will, to the other person, he's never lost. Thats the thing. So Subaru, always comes on top, and has never lost in the end, to them at least, wich is also what makes him such a..deep character, carrying so much, yet risking loosing loved ones if he were to share it with them
Completely agree with your verdict ayanokoji is a very intelligent character but what i personally believe goes against him in comparison against characters like light, johan, akiyama, subaru even yuichi in that matter is that he has never really faced strong opponents like them neither has he had such high pressure and life and death situations
Would be. However, we never really see Otto shine as much as he potentially could in other routes. Only Gluttony. I think that Ayanokoji wouldn't outperform Otto if he was put in that situation. Otto's prowess lies in talking with anybody he needs to, even dragons can side with him if he has the right reasoning. Hence, in that situation, Ayanokoji wouldn't be unbeatable, just really hard to beat, unbelievably so. But there are possibilities to outperform him after learning from him in many loops, be it Al, or Glutbaru, these guys will eventually learn from him and get him. It takes time and effort
@@bettergang2004 Nope, Ayanokoji would figure out that there is a time loop pretty fast and then play that fact to his advantage. He might even figure it out before the loop is used against him for the first time because of his unreasonable mindreading-like abilities.
@@alexamen946 Wilhelm figured out Subaru has the eyes of someone who died multiple times, and multiple people across the series figures out he could “redo”, i don’t think it takes a super genius to figure out how Subaru could return by death if he keep tweaking in the middle of doing something with new profound knowledge and trauma.

@@mrbattleking5457 writing is not subjective, it is your/people's opinion. You can't say your opinion ruins the writing. Differentiate writing and opinion.
Writing is a mixture of both subjective and objective aspects fundamentally. Qualitative writing analysis is majorily subjective based in most writing analysis types. The New Criticism model is one of the main methods though that focus on the objective nature of writing. So... like SCD and Powerscaling, writing actually has it's own methods of judgment which give you different answers. On the other hand... what defines objectively good writing outside of these aspects? Well it's the same as SCD there's no definite statement. At least not from any perspective yet shown. Nothing in these comparisons... correction nothing correlating to fiction actually really have an answer to that... just personal opinions, there probably isn't an answer. But if there is it's nothing that I've ever seen even mildly dabbled into properly.

@@lamusiquelibrededroit6622Subaru is a goddamned anomaly. Yes, he was already physically at the supernatural limit before becoming isekai. But his mind was always supernatural too. His mind and memories are stored somewhere beyond his body and soul. Apparently he has a connection to the great Sage called Flugel. Flugel has control over odlaguna. Even beings who invented things that could rewrite the history of the universe and the laws of physics with just their intelligence couldn't resist odlaguna. When they saw odlaguna, they lost their minds due to the magnitude of its power. This is an eldritch being. (And at this point Subaru=Flugel anyway.) It's obvious. @@davidarvingumazon5024Bros using ChatGPT 😭😭

Smart is the ability to apply knowledge and skills in a creative way. Intelligent is the capacity for abstract thought, understanding, communication, reasoning and learning.
@frosttier took the words right out my mouth
People talking about how other people, like Ayanokoji, would be much better than Subaru with RBD, but this isn't the case. It's more likely that almost everyone with RBD would avoid so hard to use it. And if they were in a place similar to Subaru, they would just find a way to avoid all the trouble and live peacefully, since they don't have the willpower necessary to use this power. Even if they had, they wouldn't have many reasons to use it the way Subaru does. Maybe they would use it in a better way in an individual scale, but in a macro, nuh-uh.
So in other words they don't need to use rbd anywhere as near as much as Subaru needs to
@@PsychoticMurderer not necessarily. For example, you may be some Superman and face some sudden disaster. Would you be able to save everyone? Even those who already died? Notice, this is a question only for a hero, but for people like Johan, or whoever be, this question couldn't matter less for them, not only this, but considering the pain of death, even those who wish and need the informations that RBD can give wouldn't have the amount of will necessary to take the true advantage of this power, it will be a more a question of unexpected circumstances rather than expected circumstances, people possing RBD would unlikely be willing to put himself through the frontlines and take risks even those who put others in front of them like Shirou
And of course, you can write a character like Subaru, but he can be good as him?
@flur9430 so I suppose I can agree with you in a sense that Subaru is indeed very well suited for rbd but I definitely don't agree that he would be the most best suited for it, definitely putting return by death to good use though.

narrative bro, pretty useless in intelligence scaling

W video man I love the Re:Zero world so much and I love how much attention it’s getting especially power wise, is there a way you can scale Cecilus or do a video on Esdeath (Akame ka kill) vs Emilia or Reinhard vs Yhwach (Bleach)
Emilia cooks Esdeath and probably Ywach kinda cooks(?) Reinhard due to his Almighty but Reinhard has infinite lifes so it depends on whether Ywach can cut off his Dps or not
Nice video👍
Subaru wins, he can't lose.
Its literally impossible for him except if he's stuck in a loop where he can't prepare.
I would bet arc 6+ subaru would win in anything let it be mental or physical battle without rbd. Dude's built different
Most intelligent subaru glazer 🙏
@Joeyda-alt more than half of re zero readers are fake, always take the statement with a grain of salt
Even then trought raw quantum mechnich he would eventually reach a timeline where he wins
Also, satella makes damm sure every checkpoint is AWAYS one where he doenst have unwinnable scenario
Yeah comp subaru negs
the entire premis puts koji in a huge disadvange to begin with if we being honest if we want to truly gauge suburus intellegence we have to get rid of all his return by death feats because it litteraly impossible to learn from the same experience play by play twice now imagine koji has return by death he would lowkey die only afraction of the time subru did and probably be comeing out better too
@@yan1097depends. He wouldn't do good in re zero.
(I'll leave it at this as I could go more indepth.)
Arc 2: First death occurred by a curse put on Subaru that had absolutely no signs of it's existence, and no metric to have saved yourself based on actual intelligence correlated to Subaru's situation.

Kiyotaka taking full scale IQ is enough for me 🔥
Emotions manipulation is cool and all but hows he gonna use it on ayanokoji?
He is gonna use it on the people around ayanokoji and emotional manipulation is superior to logical manipulation which allows subaru to use the help of koji's "tools"
@hamzanabti387that makes 0 sense, koji imploys actual manipulation techniques like love bombing or smear tactics, if emotional understanding was so important then ichinose would be the leader of class a
@@Animeeditz1982 its not only understanding its manipulation which ichinose doesnt have
@@randominternetuser7431 Greed Subaru does all that on a much larger scale the sheer scale of Subaru's feats are just insane when we are talking about all routes but even if we talk about main route Subaru takes the cake even if he might not be able miniplate Koji he can miniplate people around him since he far outclass almost anyone when it comes to things like love bombing or guilt tripping.
@hamzanabti387 manipulation works by exploiting ones emotions, ayanokoji on the outside appears completely emotionless and it'd be hard for subaru to get a read on him, here's why subaru can't manipulate ayanokojis allies. They trust him the most, he's build a system where they rely on him and subaru would be seen by other students as too optimistic and illogical, that kind of wild thinking only works because of subarus adaptability after his deaths, in a controlled environment he'd never get a chance to adapt, ayanokoji would completely stop all his attempts at winning the other students over. Let's be frank subaru isn't a good planner without knowing what's going to happen 😕. Every student ayanokoji has crushed had plans for ayanokoji subaru isn't of the same mastermind caliber like they are. Even in the if routes this still stands true since he over relys on return by death. His thousands of years of experience mean nothing when faced with unknown odds.
He should have talked more about the IF routes for manipulation feats:
Greed ability to manipulate Reinhard someone who has the ability to read minds and emotions with his divine protections is much better then all main version manipulation feats especially when you consider that the author said that knowing what Reinhard thinks in arc 1 is a spolier for the story
And Gluttony having the mind of everyone he killed gives him alot of experience because he has all of their feats in manipulation.
He could've used the beatrice scene it encapsulated his EI better
Well said
@ranmoses2553 Greed isn’t as great as you think he is. He had the mentality of trial-and-error, he simply tried again and again and eventually landed that 1-in-a-million roll, he also had Echidna giving him advice. If we were to scale, he would be ranked lower than Envybaru due to a lack of feats.
@@wimit8266 Yeah Greedbaru is overrated as hell most of his feats are duo to Echidna, The smartest Subaru is probably the Gluttony if.
@@osmanturk7615 True
In essence, Subaru wins in a battle of wits because he has Isekai hacks supporting him, making him more knowledgable and flexible? Here is what I think:
- Stakes make no difference between those characters. Sure, Subaru has more at stake, but he also has essentially infinite attempts, failing over and over, it makes Stakes irrelevant as long as he can just "reset" and try something else, and doesn't lose his mind in the process
- In a battle of wits, I have a hard time imagining Ayanokoji losing to Subaru unless Subaru has his Isekai Cheats, in which case no non-cheat character has a chance. Essentially, it comes down to what situation these characters face off in. Subaru wins if the situation is one in which he can fully utilize his cheat powers, but in any situation that he cannot, I just don't see him surpass Ayanokoji on the spot.
Doing composite for one against someone who has no options for composite seems kind of like a copout, just do canon Subaru or one of the routes
Yeah, I do think using works like the Greed and Gluttony IF puts Subaru in an unfair advantage. In saying that, Arcs 7 and 8 Subaru should've been enough to make up for it. Nucha didn't use it for the video though.

If Subaru struggles that much against Otto’s plans then Ayanokoji would be unbeatable
Also to be fair, otto is literally an irl anomaly in the Re-Zero verse LOL
