Ep. 4, The Scoop in 65

Today's episode includes information about:
1. The School Board’s approval of a design plan and budget for the new 5th Ward School. The School Board also made the very difficult decision to commence the formal hearing process required for considering the closing of Bessie Rhodes.
2. An opportunity for our staff, students, and families to share their voice with us! Take the 5Essentials Survey now through March 29
3. Black Girl Magic Book Club, which serves students at five of our schools. This club was created in 2019 to create a space for increased representation of characters of color in children’s books.
4. D65 Debate! Now in its second season, 40 middle school students are in the league and working with D65 coaches and ETHS assistant coaches.
