I bought the sony WF-C500, SPECIFICALLY because they don't have all the useless nonsense that only gets in the way of using them. I mean why the hell do you need the music to stop when you take one of them out of your ear? You can just press the button and stop the music yourself like a big boy. Sony's earbuds have nice, physical buttons and that makes them far more convenient to use than earbuds with touch control. I mean who places touch control on earbuds? That's such an insane idea and it makes using them literall hell. All the other crap like wireless charging, let's be honest: you won't even use it. So why pay for it? The most importan thing is there: the ability to set EQ through you phone. You don't need anything else. WF-C500 sound really good, they are simple and they have physical buttons. They are far better than the more expensive earbuds on the market which to me were just annoying with all their useless features. Reviewers like this channel often focus on such insignificant nonsense that it's mindbogling. I mean for christ sake, he said that the WF-C500 sound better but according to him it's unimportant. Dude. Sound IS the most IMPORTANT feature in headphones. Not proximity sensors. Not wireless charging. Not ambient mode. SOUND. The only thing that I would change about WF-C500 is the battery capacity of the case. That's the only thing I agree with in this review.
Sony is underrating their battery life. I've seen reviews say wf-c500 can manage 14hours on a single charge. 28hours in total. Where the specs say only 20hour total battery life.
I purchased jabra elite 3 and the hissing sound after you stop the music and also when you are on a call ruins the whole experince. Got them replaced and the 2nd pair had the same issue. Bought them in copnehagen, which clearly made me beleive that the problem is real.
I do use Elite 3. Actually, I sold my 75t active due to hissing and sizzle on the left while listening conversation talks, and switched to Elite 3 for mono mod. I'm so satisfied it, but hissing still there and sound quality is a bit behind compared to 75t
Hello.I have chance go buying oneplus z2 and this sony buds same prices wise.wich is better for rock and metal music listening if you know ?p.s.and in metro or bus which is better withe noise situacion?
@MrCarpet it's decent not super bass, I think Sony has other models made for big bass, but for the price these are excellent and I love the mechanical button on them , not a fan of touch function on earbuds, it's weird and sometimes not responsive

How is the calling ?
I use the elite 4 active. Very good earbuds. Wish jabra provided separate wings so that they don't fall when running.
For sound, go for Sony after some tweaks on Eq setting in Sony application. This sounds better than most of the high costing headsets out there
Sony better?
Turn off the hear through for the jabra if you hear a hissing sound. I prefer it off anyways so I'm not getting that hissing sound.
I just saw this video for the review but I'm still getting Sony coz of the sound.

Update your firmare and turn off hear through feature crazy how all these reviewers couldn't figure that out haha
I like my 3's
The only thing I don't like about the Sony case is that it's clear on the top
Personally i prefer it cos i can see if i placed it in correctly but still respect for ur opinion

the hissing only exists when you have HearThru mode activated and there is no noise around you
