This is very interesting. I've not heard of this book, but it's on my library TBR now. I love challenges such as this. It's a short time commitment, and there is a good chance that we'll find a good nugget to incorporate into our lives. I have a morning (and evening) routine, but I am always looking for ways to improve or refine. Currently, I awake, weigh, practice yoga for 20+ minutes, pick a Wisdom card, journal (how I feel -- physically, mentally, and emotionally; note the Wisdom card; how I will care for myself that day), make tea, and log onto my work computer. Some days, I walk with my husband to the bike rental stop before my yoga practice, but it really depends if I want a longer practice or a quick walk. Some days, I change into "proper" clothes (vs. staying in my yoga leggings and top) and apply mascara! I will say that I developed (and expanded) my morning routine because I have the luxury of time (now that I am working from home). Before, I awoke 30-40 minutes before leaving for work, and then I walked three miles to work. Before that, I had a 30-minute drive to a different job. Because lucky circumstances (good health and uninterrupted income), I may be one of the few people who has been able to make lemonade from the pandemic lemons.
I'll be curious to hear what you think of the book and if you test out this morning routine! It sounds like you have a great morning routine established. I really like the idea of picking a daily Wisdom card. Do you practice a particular style of yoga in the mornings? I'll generally turn to yoga on really rainy mornings when we choose not to go on a walk. I've had a similar experience and am happy to hear you've been able to make the most of the shift to working from home. It's amazing how much more time I have in the mornings and evenings now that I don't have to drive to an office. I'm glad to hear things have been going well for you and I hope the trend continues! 💜
Would love to hear your thoughts on this now that you've had a couple years distance from it. Still something that interests you? Plus, you look like you exercise already. So a walk with the hubby didn't seem to be the only exercise you were doing at this time. I'm wondering if doing an hour workout in the morning as part of the miracle morning routine would work - in terms of completing exercise for the day. Again, would love to hear your thoughts.
I understand that a robust evening routine is required in order to succeed with a morning routine. This is exactly where my struggle is- it’s 1am right now and 1 AM right now and I am having a hard time sleeping. Please advise. Kind regards sameera
Thanks so much for the feedback! I got my infrared light from Joovv but I also just got one from Red Therapy Company which I've been really happy with (and I got a bigger device for less money - woohoo!). :) Hope this helps!
That's a great question! I think it depends on the person. For me, it's the little things you do each day that add up and compound over time. I feel like I get much more out of my day and it brings me more success and happiness in the long run. 😊
👍🏾 No matter how helpful something is, if it can't be adapted to benefit *you*, it's not helpful. Like how you made it *yours* . You were able to adapt it, to benefit *you* . 😀
YES! I used to think I had "failed" if I didn't follow something like this to a "T" and realized how silly that was! What works for one person won't work for everyone. 💜
Anything that helps you stick to a meditation practice is a win in my opinion!
Thanks Laura! This was very helpful !! Im looking forward to do it. Ive tried it but today I slept in. Nevermind. Lets try again!
Thanks so much for the feedback! The hardest part is getting started! Best of luck! 💜
The evening routine is what I'm looking forward to learning in order to prepare to do these Lifesavers. Set yourself up to win.
Love this! YES!
I like this. Many thanks for a good concept and approach to what can be a tough routine for many. 💪

Do you use the self-care wisdom cards? I also have them.
how many affirmations do you suggest to say and how often?
I heard Hal say that you can combine meditation, affirmation and visualisation.
If i get up and practise this about a hour , can I fall asleep after then ?
I'm not sure but I think the point of it is to stay motivated and active so just going back to sleep is GONNA ruin the thing.
Great video. Currently reading my miracle morning. Thanks for sharing your experience
Thank you so much!! 💜
Great laura !

Thank you for the suggestion on the Mala beads
This was very helpful. Can I ask where you got the infrared light from?

So do you think these are life-changing in anyway?

It has nothing to do with the content but you look like Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar), when she was young.

I like you you seem real and nice
Ooohhhh Kay then...you should meditate on Jesus and you will have more direction..if your honest you'd try it
I wouldn't meditate on a character from a book
@@emulus4000 people meditate on other human’s advice who ultimately apply many Jesus principals if you think about it
