I'm from Oklahoma and I go to downtown Dallas all the time for concerts and if you ever go to a concert at the house of blues USE THE VALLET because its much cheaper than the parking lots/garages!! But also there are some garages that aren't that far from American Airlines and HOB!!! but yea life hack the valet is usually much cheaper in the long run! :)
the traffic was one-way and i couldn't figure out how to get to the front of the building to the vallet and i was scared of getting caught in the pedestrian traffic again so I turned into the first parking lot I found. definitely plan on valleting next time!

Dallas is scary lol I got chased by a guy who literally jumped out of the bushes after a Nine Inch Nails show at American Airlines and that was my last concert downtown! 🤣 Pro tip, IMMEDIATELY go to your car after the show with the crowd leaving the venue and always, always, always have someone with you. Dallas can be rough.
@@WhittyNovels oh man always take a buddy if ya can! I almost didn't share this because I didn't want to spook you but it's important to go in pairs to shows for this very reason. I've been going to concerts for decades in Dallas and that was the only bad experience and it was my own fault for not parking at the venue then hanging back talking to friends I ran into so I was walking to the car solo. A big no no!
Going on 2 decades.. why am I aging myself! 🤣 I just turned 32 a few days ago I'm not handling it well. Lol! I was going to huge rock and metal shows with friends at like 14 years old and never had an issue haha! It's all about power in numbers in Dallas! 🤣

Pro tip, IMMEDIATELY go to your car after the show with the crowd leaving the venue and always, always, always have someone with you. Dallas can be rough.

@@WhittyNovels oh man always take a buddy if ya can! I almost didn't share this because I didn't want to spook you but it's important to go in pairs to shows for this very reason. I've been going to concerts for decades in Dallas and that was the only bad experience and it was my own fault for not parking at the venue then hanging back talking to friends I ran into so I was walking to the car solo. A big no no!
Going on 2 decades.. why am I aging myself! 🤣 I just turned 32 a few days ago I'm not handling it well. Lol! I was going to huge rock and metal shows with friends at like 14 years old and never had an issue haha! It's all about power in numbers in Dallas! 🤣
