Nurturing curiosity: UNM STEM Carnival 2023

The University of Nottingham Malaysia's STEM Carnival aims to spark interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among students through fun and interactive activities.
This year's STEM carnival hosted 700 students from 13 different schools over the course of 3 days. The carnival offered participants the opportunity to learn through engaging activities ranging from magnet mazes to assembling robots. There were also talks given by industry experts to help students better understand their topics of interest.
The success of this project would not have been possible without the support of our dedicated partners The Institution of Engineers Malaysia, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Malaysia Board of Technologists, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Malaysia) and the management & ecology of Malaysian elephants.
