So good to see T387 hauling passenger trains again. I use to work on T387 at Yorke Peninsula Rail in South Australia
Great video mate, great to see 387 out and about.
Good work. Fantastic trip that was, glad to have been a passenger visiting from Adelaide. I was also on platform 3 taking shots, I would’ve said hi if I knew who you were
Your opening shots are pure class. (They usually are). Thanks for another excellent video.
Sick Video Adam! Keep up the great work
707 operations are going to be doing a tour down the Oaklands line on June 1st and 2nd!
Nice video - I would have thought the N Class would handle that consist by itself, or do they add the T Class for redundancy? Inverleigh is not too far.
This got me thinking too. I live right next to the Werribee line and saw the consist head back to Melbourne with the T leading. Found it weird the T was leading long nose on the way out too.
707 might have needed extra HP but we’re told not to have the N lead? Auxiliary power also comes to mind, the T wouldn’t have been able to do it alone.
N would've been utilised for 2 Reasons.
1. Backup incase T387 had issues.
2. Head End Power. PCJ was not turned on.
Are you gonna chase the Diesel Rail and Sail to Geelong on Sunday
Yep. Looks like a train.
Didn't look like there were many people on the train. It seemed only one or two carriages had people in them.
