I am in the process of making a sled exactly as you have shown. I need help understanding the track you made at the area of the front fence to allow the clamps to be inserted and removed from the vertical tracks. It seems to me a open groove must be made in each of the vertical tracks for a short distance or am I not understanding how the clamps work. This is my first adventure with the microjig products. Thanks in advance for your help.

Why didn't you use MDF? Its cheaper, doesn't move and is flatter.
