I love how Six's moves are all strength moves. He never does any fancy gymnastic stuff other than a few throws, he mostly just hammers people into submission. The same thing happens in the hospital scene too, the Tamil guy is slicker but every time it's a test of brute strength Six wins every time. And I know the shirtless scene was probably in there for other reasons, but beyond that showing his absolutely ripped physique really added a lot more believability to the scenes where Six just overwhelms people with how strong he is. He doesn't need to be too fancy when he's that buffed.
In the later books six has to deal with a guy way stronger than him, every time they meet he gets the shit kicked out of him. Ultimately he just tells everyone to shoot the guy.
I just watched this for the third time, and this is my very favorite scene. The fight sequence set to this song gives me absolute goose bumps. There’s no fancy strikes or missed kicks, he just brutally overpowered his opponent and never missed a beat. Be still my ❤️!!!
Imo, one of the best scenes in cinema history… I’ve been watching films as a hobby for 16 years… the realism.. and the… burnt out yet still running 100% because he must. He finally sees something sweet in his life…. And he sees something blossoming at the same time…. Then BOOM his life is on a wire again, and hers…. But collects himself after utter brutal destruction of the assassins and her realization of just how brutal the world is just really why he’s there and just how everything works all at once. In that one expression she’s an amazing actress. This scene was so perfectly done. In my opinion it’s one of the best in cinema history, people…. Take it in….
Tbh, if i was claire, i wouldnt know if i should sleep well as i got a bodyguard in the house or if i should be scared cus there is a bodyguard in the house fully capable of killing someone
One of the few things the Russos got RIGHT about this movie and Gosling playing Gentry is the hand to hand. It’s not flashy gun fu judo tai kwan do bull shit that John Wick does.
John kind of needs to do Gun-Fu with some of his opponents who often are just as skilled or stronger than him. This guy is pure efficiency because he mostly deals with grunts, but when he has an actually skilled opponent like Chris Evan’a character he doesn’t hesitate to test his mettle and hand to hand combat against him, along with some serious grudges to settle. John Wick doesn’t use Gun-Fu when he can avoid it, such as when he was assaulting the dog killer’s final safe house. There he just shot everyone as efficiently as possible.
“Just another Thursday.” knew the moment they matched words , that their bond was going to be a very special part of this movie.
Yes, to me they downplay their own issues, but appreciate the others "Thursday", and I don't think 6 has ever been asked how he was after a kill
@@dangee1625 which meant alot to him.

John wick and Mr six would be great friends who will always have each other's back
Mr fix fights for his small family he found , and Wick fights for his dog💯 perfect duo
So three guys walk into a bar. It's John Wick, Sierra Six, and Nobody. Oh shit, says the bartender. The end.
Such an underrated movie. It might not be the best but it’s definitely great. Loved it!
Such a well orchestrated scene.
This fight scene alone is better than a lot of movies. Great choreography!
One of the best scenes I’ve ever seen
Great song Great movie.

It was an entertaining movie. Too bad I read the book first. There was a hellofa lot more Hollywood than author.
And then she slept like a baby… O.O
