My first set of nice brushes were made by Halston. I got them in a department store at the Halston counter and they were made of sable hair I loved and used those brushes for years.
Oh!! Michele, your clothes are always so pretty, by no means should you feel pressured but i just wanted to throw the lookbook idea into a hat in case you feel like doing it! I'd love to see some of your outfits.
I was just checking the description box to see if Michele added info on her clothes. Hello Michele, may I know where did you get the cardigan and blouse from? 😊
I have all the BK Beauty brushes and love them, love supporting UA-camrs too. Where are your brushes!!! I love Real Techniques brushes but stopped buying them because of the big chunky handles, I never knew they had another line with slim handles! I might have to get some of your other favorites. My favorite brush is the IT Cosmetics Wand Ball Brush, I use it for setting powder, so soft and perfect. FYI I just went on a Tom Ford eyeshadow buying binge thanks to you, got 6 quads and a few of the multi eye face palettes - Love!!
The Sonia G Sculpt One....I bought this based off your recommendation, Michelle. And WOW WOW WOW! It is just the most amazing thing. I use it EVERY day! Even when I’m in a complete hurry to get ready, I have time to do a quick bronze/contour because this brush is so quick! Game-changer for me too ! Thanks!
So excited to watch this video. I love the La Mer powder brush as well. I know people like Mel Thompson have said that there's a Sonia kashuk dupe, but it's not even close. I know because I ran out and bought the Sonia kashuk one. It's nice, but definitely not the same.
Hi Michele- I am getting serious about brushes and have been watching your videos on the subject, but I am a little confused with the powder brushes. You mentioned the Chikuhodo Z-1 for powder and the Sonia G-Phase 1 also for powder. Is there a difference between these two brushes since I believe they are both squirrel hair? Do they apply powder differently? I too use the Sisley lose powder, and I also use the Sisley Blur which you also talk about in this video. Thanks to you I was able to properly use the Blur product and it is one of the best things I have purchased in years since I have melasma and this covers my dark spots really well so I am excited about the brushes but confused about which one to get or if I should get both. Thanks Michele!
Good morning Michele! Ahhhhh yes yes yes! Uu great collab! I DO LOVE your hair down... it’s not repetitive. You’re gorgeous any way! If you want to change it up maybe a black leather headband or something? But I think his is perfect!! ❤️
I bought the La Mer Powder Brush and Trish McEvoy 55 Blender and am thrilled. The Trish McEvoy 55 Blender picks up the Chantecaille cushion foundation really well. The La Mer lays down powder and blush brilliantly. I'm hooked.
I absolutely love all of Sonia G’s brushes. They are the best investment I ever made and worth every dollar. They have also changed my beauty game❣️ The same goes for all of the Wayne Goss brushes. They perfectly compliment Sonia’s. I loved this video thank you Michele. I hope you do this series eye brushes as well.
That Face One brush is HEAVENLY! And the BK Beauty Foundation brush is my fave foundation brush! I need to pull out that RT brush again. It's been a while since I've used it!
Hi Michele, love your reviews. Thank you for sharing. I have very sensitive skin so Chikuhodo Z series and Hakuhodo S100 Series are my favorites and a must. Have you ever tried Rae Morris brushes? I recommend to try Jishaku #3 and Jishaku #7: Deluxe Point Shader
I have that Real Techniques Powder Bleu B02 brush (and the B03 and B05). LOVE them! Actually found them in TJ Maxx for $10 each and $8 (B05)!!!!!!😱😱😱 Wish I could find their face brush on discount 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, I feel those brushes give flawless finish
Yoko Rivers yes. Me too. Michelle really understands which brushes works for different eye shapes. I have deep set eyes and would appreciate the suggestions, as I have spent a lot of money on brushes but still no favorites.
I’ve always used super cheap brushes and eco tools brushes but I recently found a Kevyn aucoin brush at tj maxx and its now my favorite thing ever. Thanks for this video you have such positive energy ❤️
I just started watching your posts a few days ago. I love your contents on makeup brushes and makeup. I use Cle De Peau and Tata Harper. I typically use Trish brushes and want to expand to Sonia G. Although many are sold out. One important questions, how to you care for your brushes daily, to lightly clean and where do you store them, keeping them away from dust but have them air out if you using them for creams. Thanks for the advice.
I’m glad you mentioned real techniques blue powder brush as I just got it in TJX in UK for 6 pound. Bought it to sweep away baking. Woop woop I will also consider smashbox brushes now you recommend them :) thanks ! It’s a shame zoeva is difficult to get for you in us, they’re easily available in Europe and all of them are great
Brushes! Nice to see exactly how you use your selected brushes. For synthetic brushes I like Real Techniques Duo Fiber brushes. Duo fiber helps me not overdo on my bronzer. Love your selections and thank you for a great video.
Omggg Michele You read my mind girl i am about to purchase brushes and was wishing for this video from you! Ugh so awesome. Thanks! Oh and love you lol💕
Today might be one of my most important days in my life and I am glad that I kicks start with your video on my favourite topic at the moment. So very grateful and excited for the day. Thank you.
Hello Michele! 💗 I‘d like to see your picks of favorite eyeshadow brushes but I can‘t find a video. Is there one on your profile? Greats from Germany, Berlin 😊
Great Video as always! I have just recently started getting into brushes and still have a certain budget, soooo I would love to see perhaps an updated Rephr brushes video if possible. I just purchased their holiday collection with the complimentary bronzer brush (which Mel said is basically a dupe for the Tom Ford bronzer brush, which isn't available anymore). Would love to hear your opinion about them. I think you last video about Rephr was 5 or 6 months ago. Sending lots of love from Germany :)
I have two of the Trish McEvoy brushes because of your recommendation you made in a video long time ago and I have to say that love this brush a lot for my cream products.
I just looked into your description box and you are 46?! Excuse me, lady?! I would never have guessed that! I hope I'm going to look as youthful and elegant as you when I reach my 40s. 😊 Plus: I really enjoy your content and your whole personality. I love how calm and real you are, I can't watch people who are just over the top and screaming all the time.
Great choices Michele. I actually found your channel when I was searching for reviews of Sonia G. Brushes & Ive been watching ever since. Thank you for all your great content. & Merry Mishmas!
Wow. Thank you! I needed this b/c brushes overwhelm me. I do not like having a lot of brushes. I needed help narrowing them down. It cracks me up that there are generations that have no idea regular people once upon a time had zero or only eyeshadow brushes in their makeup arsenal.
Real Techniques B02 has been discontinued. What do recommend in its place? I need a small blush brush for cream. The bigger ones always move and shift my foundation. My face is kind of small. Thank you 🙏❤️❤️❤️
So enjoyed this video. Can you do a video like this for eye shadows with synthetic vs.natural? I don’t have many natural hair brushes...a couple of Trish McElvoy.
Any brush video from you is a super bright spot in my day 🥰 I love those RT Powder Bleu brushes too - got a couple of the eye brushes, might have to get the face brush too.
I always follow your recommendations for brush. Recently, I am loving cream products more and was in search for a synthetic brush as I feel bad using natural hair brush for cream products thinking it will leave a permanent stain. Found that Zoeva 110 brush is part of opulence brush set that is available in Ulta. So, purchased it with 20% coupon. Thank you! ❤️
It was very helpful, but at the same time very confusing, how many brushes does a regular person should have? I am trying to get a full set of brushes, one by one, I don’t mind any price as long as I am 100% happy with the brush performance. So which ones would be the top best if I was to buy just 5 of them?
Michelle! I ordered a suqqu cheek brush and it was so disapointing! I ordered it in the UK and seriously I have synthetic super cheap brushes that are softer , what is going on woth suqqu? Mine doesn't even look like the one used by Lisa Eldrige for instance! The bristles on hers seem so much softer and flexible
Doing a Mishmas Binge!! Been SO busy and I always watch your vids FIRST!! You've knocked these out of the park Michele!! Thank you! I'm a brush addict, so I can't WAIT!! ~Angie~
Michele, I have the original mini Armani face blender as well and it’s my favorite. It’s almost perfect, except for I wish it was a tad bit stiff. Is the Trish one an exact dupe or maybe a tiny bit stiff? Thank you
I do have to say this was an awesome half and half video with the entire debacle you can get your life into when trying to figure out what brushes you should by and even worse which brushes of natural versus synthetic brushes ? So this was great I hope fully someday I can try just one or two of all 10 stunning brushes!! Great content!! 👏👏👏❤️❤️
Hi! Do you think you will review the Chanel spring collection soon? I’m very interested to see the Ombre Laque formula and was hoping to order before holiday, but waiting for your review and suggestions. Hope to see it soon - you are so thorough!
Hello Michele! I have all the blue line from real technic and they are indeed very nice . I would like to ask you if you know japonesque brushes and if you do what's your opinion about them . Risa does makeup said they are good . I have found them in very good price and I am thinking to them a shot ...🤔😉🥰💋
Coming over from Nicole's channel, I have known her for a long time and she is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside! You have given me many brush ideas, ones I don't have and now think I need, lol,as soon as I saw that Rephr brush I thought that looks like the TF one and I love that one! XOXO
Love your favorites videos. Looking forward to your Best of 2019 series! I have several of these brushes and love them. I ordered the BK Beauty brush after seeing you haul it because it looked so unique to me. Even though I prefer natural brushes overall, it's become my go to for foundation application. Another great synthetic brush is the Sigma F80. It works for so many things but I love it for applying the Westman Atelier highlighter on my cheeks.
Thank you for this video!!! I have been looking for the Real Techniques Blue line of brushes for ages. I thought they were discontinued or unavailable! Selfridges!!! Of course. Thanks!!!
I’ve also ordered Rephr’s brushes, I backed their project on Kickstarter , however, I still haven’t receive mine I don’t know why 😞 I tried contact the Rephr team but no one got back to me, do you think you can help me out by bringing my situation to their attention?? I would be very grateful!!
Hi, would you review Smith Cosmetics brushes? Beautylish recommended some for Dry/wet packing eyes. I watched a couple.of videos. I can’t seem to find how they’re made, Small brushes are about $22. Thank you, Michelle.
Have you had a chance to try the Chikuhodo Silver Fox F brushes yet? I thought of asking you as you seem to love so many fude brushes :) Also do you think the rephr p24 is the same as the Hakuhodo J210BkSL/Wayne Goss 13/Volare F02 buffing brush?
Pl can you help me on this: Do you know where can i find the Esum w21, apart from their own site? (The shipping costs from U.S to Europe, athens where i live, is almost double the price of the brush... 😬 Its not very popular, so its hard to find). If not, any suggestions for a brush as similar to size and performance to W21 pls??? Thank you ❣ (i tried to find the trish mc evoy 19 i saw on a former video of yours, but its not available anymore... it seemed similar to w21, so i gave it a try 🥺)
Ummm I am like so into this video like seriously the way u explain each brush and y u love it is spot on!! Like I can picture myself using the brushes the way u do! Oh boy am I in trouble bc now I'm wanting these brushes myself lmbo! I was already eyeing alot of these brushes anyways!! So so so good 💯😉💕
Good morning!!!!!!! Oh wow great video and collab!! I learned so much! I was basically hanging on every word, no joking whatsoever!! I loved all your picks!!! Thanks for staying consistent and showing up for Mish-Mas, I've thoroughly enjoyed thus far!! All my love!! Cheers ☕!!!
I love the intro of your Mishmas. I covet your brush collection. 😍 I’m just starting my collection of Sonia G and Wayne Goss brushes, and love referring to your videos of them.
Thank you! Getting Trish McEvoy 55 brush, it is lovely ! Thanks!

The density of that La Mer brush is really special. A lot, but not hard... you know what I’m trying to say 🤣

Hi Michele! Just so happy because I've just bought this Trish McEvoy 55 Blender with 25%off at Neiman Marcus! I hope I'll love it as much as you do!
❤️❤️❤️ so happy you’re loving the 101 😘 thank you for sharing! Going to check out Nicole’s channel now!
Lisa! It’s perfection!! Xoxo
Lisa, love your brushes!!!!
Haven't tried it yet, can't wait till it's back in stock 😃
Good morning Michele! Ahhhhh yes yes yes! Uu great collab!
I DO LOVE your hair down... it’s not repetitive. You’re gorgeous any way! If you want to change it up maybe a black leather headband or something? But I think his is perfect!! ❤️

It's so blessed i found your videos about brushes. Could you show us the right way to pick many kind of products using those brushes next time??
100% agree about the Sonia G Face One. Nothing applies powder quite like it. Love her brushes
I love Sonia G so much I own the complete pro set and blue ski set. They are perfection!
That Face One brush is HEAVENLY! And the BK Beauty Foundation brush is my fave foundation brush! I need to pull out that RT brush again. It's been a while since I've used it!

I have seen Nicole. She’s fun. Wow. I really love this !! It’s so good to even show affordable and high end !
I freaking LOVEEEEEEEE the Smashbox brushes so I'm gonna need that Cream Cheek Brush! Oh and now, that Trish McEvoy brush got my eyessssss lookin!
Can you please do one on eye brushes for Asian eyes?
You are the queen of brushes! Nobody compares to your brush knowledge. 👑
Have you done a video using that Sisley powder as a before foundation step? I’m super curious about it. ~ Charli 🌸
I have - I've done two vids on it, if you do a search. It's the second one.
I know Nicole did brushes for eyes but I also would love to see what you recommend brushes for eyes.
Yoko Rivers yes. Me too. Michelle really understands which brushes works for different eye shapes. I have deep set eyes and would appreciate the suggestions, as I have spent a lot of money on brushes but still no favorites.
Can somebody tell me the name of the 7:25 minute brush??? Please?? I dont understand very well sorry.
I’ve always used super cheap brushes and eco tools brushes but I recently found a Kevyn aucoin brush at tj maxx and its now my favorite thing ever. Thanks for this video you have such positive energy ❤️

What brand and shade is your nail polish? It's so rich and jelly-like!
❤️❤️❤️Such fun to collab with you Michele! ❤️❤️❤️ Now that I watched your video, I see some face brushes I really need to pick up. 🤣

@Lauren Freeman I haven't used the holiday brush set yet but quite excited to. Because I've heard this also quite often :)
Hi Michele! Did you ever get to try and use the other RT PowderBleu brushes 10:10? Thank you x
I have two of the Trish McEvoy brushes because of your recommendation you made in a video long time ago and I have to say that love this brush a lot for my cream products.

Thank you Michelle! I was waiting for a video from you like this. I trust your judgment.
Mishmaaaaaas time in the cityyyyy! 🎶🎵🎄 .... love this collab! YOU are the brush authority! Thumbs up galore girl! Thx 😊
Also.... “bronzer helmet”?! Hilarious! I’ve never heard that but know EXACTLY what ur talking about!!! Haha #michelleisms 😂🤣😂🤣

Real Techniques B02 has been discontinued. What do recommend in its place? I need a small blush brush for cream. The bigger ones always move and shift my foundation. My face is kind of small. Thank you 🙏❤️❤️❤️
MISH update! This BK beauty or Sonia G Jumbo brush!?
So enjoyed this video. Can you do a video like this for eye shadows with synthetic vs.natural? I don’t have many natural hair brushes...a couple of Trish McElvoy.

I love this video! Nice brushes are my new love 😝
I asked my hubby for the SG face 1 brush for Christmas 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Zoeva now has US site and it has free shipping over $50.
OH!! Excellent!!! Thank you!
I'm binge watching your episodes. Love how classy you are. btw mishmas means "sunny day" in arabic :)
I love the Le Mer powder brush too!
Hi Michelle, the rephr 24 is a limited release and out of stock on the web. Which is so sad. Any other brush close to that ? Thanks
Do you still like to use the Wayne goss airbrush brush ? Would you recommend the real techniques one over that one ? I don’t know which one to get!
Hi! Do you think you will review the Chanel spring collection soon? I’m very interested to see the Ombre Laque formula and was hoping to order before holiday, but waiting for your review and suggestions. Hope to see it soon - you are so thorough!
What foundation did you use? Looks so effortless with the bk beauty contour brush? Really enjoy watching, very informative. Thank you
Hello Michele! I have all the blue line from real technic and they are indeed very nice . I would like to ask you if you know japonesque brushes and if you do what's your opinion about them . Risa does makeup said they are good . I have found them in very good price and I am thinking to them a shot ...🤔😉🥰💋
Yet, another great and very helpful video! Thank you so much
I loved hearing about your fave face brushes! Could you please do a video of YOUR eye brush faves?
Your hair looks so pretty!! And it looks great up in a high pony💜💜💜
Westman Atelier mascara is magnificent!
Do the natural haired brushes tend to be more scratchy? I bought a set of Morphe brushes and they are quite scratchy. Not sure if I like them.
Coming over from Nicole's channel, I have known her for a long time and she is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside! You have given me many brush ideas, ones I don't have and now think I need, lol,as soon as I saw that Rephr brush I thought that looks like the TF one and I love that one! XOXO
Welcome Susan!! She is such a doll!! 😘😘
If I need to choose between the Chikuhodo brush and the La Mer brush which do you like best for an all over brush?
They are all so amazing!!! Ahhh, these Chikuhodo and Sonia G brushes...
Thank you for this video!!! I have been looking for the Real Techniques Blue line of brushes for ages. I thought they were discontinued or unavailable! Selfridges!!! Of course. Thanks!!!
Thank you so much Michele for your share!!! Love your channel and your personality! Can wait yo try one of your recommendation brush :)
Love this video!! I can listen to you talk about brushes all day! Want more! 😆. I hope you will show your top eye brushes next.
Can you please do another all time best favorite brushes videos? This video is old 😅😅
I’ve also ordered Rephr’s brushes, I backed their project on Kickstarter , however, I still haven’t receive mine I don’t know why 😞 I tried contact the Rephr team but no one got back to me, do you think you can help me out by bringing my situation to their attention?? I would be very grateful!!
Please contact them via DM on Instagram! They respond very quickly!
Hi, would you review Smith Cosmetics brushes? Beautylish recommended some for Dry/wet packing eyes. I watched a couple.of videos. I can’t seem to find how they’re made, Small brushes are about $22. Thank you, Michelle.
Thankyou Michelle ! I got my brushes and they did not let me down🥰
Always love brush videos and yours are always helpful 😊
Have you had a chance to try the Chikuhodo Silver Fox F brushes yet? I thought of asking you as you seem to love so many fude brushes :) Also do you think the rephr p24 is the same as the Hakuhodo J210BkSL/Wayne Goss 13/Volare F02 buffing brush?
If I were to buy a natural brush set, what would you recommend?
I can't see to find the Rephr P24. Did they rename it?
Amazing brushes Michele
Red nails- very festive 🎄🎄
Thanks Kat!! Xoxo 😘
Pl can you help me on this: Do you know where can i find the Esum w21, apart from their own site? The perfect video in the perfect time😊 just in need for some new brushes and your recommendations are always so accurate 🥰
Rephr P24 is not available on their website....
Cheers ☕!!!
Love the video! So excited to try the SG brush with the Sisley powder. Thanks💐
Hello
Please do asap ♥️ top eye brushes video 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Which brush is good for sensitive skin synthetic or natural one ?
You're so beautiful, Michele, and your videos light up my day.
Michele! Have you tried the Sonia Kashuk big powder brush?? What do you think of it as a dupe for the La Mer big powder brush?
I love the intro of your Mishmas. I covet your brush collection. 😍 I’m just starting my collection of Sonia G and Wayne Goss brushes, and love referring to your videos of them.
Oh my! Thank you for your breakdown of brushes. So thorough and helpful!
