    You are one of the few CFI's that actually becomes one with the plane(gyro) that makes the best teachers/instructors in aviation. All my instructors before would tell me, "Oh, you can't do this or that without explaining, why I couldn't or shouldn't do a particular maneuver, then show me why I shouldn't. Because sooner or later I'll find myself in some adverse situation, not of my own making, without the knowledge of how to recover. In good circumstances, let's practice these maneuvers so I'll know what to do and moreover understand how to avoid them altogether. But for goodness sake, teach me how to survive all the conditions I'll sooner or later find myself in. If you, as an instructor can't/won't teach me, then tell me now so I can find an instructor that willing and able to take me to my limitations of learning. I would say, without a doubt, you're my instructor. When you make the move to Florida, I'll be waiting!!!!! God Bless.

    In all the videos I have been watching pertaining to AutoGyros, I am very impressed by noticing hardly in your AutoGyro, if any, stick shake. All the other videos I have watched the stick shake is something people should be nervous about.

    Good advice and that looks a good machine. I love Gyroplanes, always did since I first heard of one that flew in WW11. I saw it on a documentary and thought "Why have they never been invested in?" It is only now they are coming of age, but they are still quite small. There is no reason why larger ones, maybe even with small wings could not be made for normal flying use. I would love one (if I had the money) to hold five passengers and a small amount of luggage. Also they have a small range at the moment, there is no reason why that could not be doubled is there? Take off and land on a dime, brilliant. No large airstrips required. I love the way they are getting covered in these day and the pilot is not open to the elements They are coming of age. :-)) Wonderful video. Keep them coming, I will be here to watch them. See also comment in RB3 Baize's comment. Thank-you, love the tips.

      I think it all came down to vertical takeoff and hovering. Helicopters got the military funding so they progressed so much faster. Gyroplanes never could break into the commercial/military side of things so they have just progressed slow. It is nice to see a lot of growth over the last decade though!

      @@AirgyroAviation The Fairey Rotodyne might have got it, but the rising cost of fuel and lack of interest killed it, but it did hover and fly at speed. They said it was noisy and one person who said it was very noisy was silenced when they pointed out that the aircraft had landed while he was being interviewed and he never noticed. But in some ways it was to far ahead of its time. ua-cam.com/video/u4Z1UnRZDyo/v-deo.html

    Great Video. Your sound was fine on this one. When you record outside the aircraft (not using the COM) you might want to consider using a separate digital audio recorder. It makes it a pain when you edit the video clips because you have to sync up the video with audio. Good audio helps make your videos even better. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

    • @AirgyroAviation
      @AirgyroAviation  5 років тому +1

      Thanks Mike, we have done separate audio recordings in the past and now have the equipment to do it. Sometimes when we are at a different location it can be difficult though. Audio is super important when it comes to making a good video, so we are trying to improve there!

    • @MikeSmith628
      @MikeSmith628 5 років тому +1

      @@AirgyroAviation Just curious - how are you recording the COM on this last video? It was perfect. I have used a Y cable in the headphone side of the headsets plugs before on an M-16 and it worked great until the adapter went bad -- lose connection caused ton of static. So now I use a digital recorder with powered mic and just slip into one side of my headset. Seems to do the job.

    • @BoB4jjjjs

      @@AirgyroAviation Yes, I have seen poor audio on aviation videos and it does make what would have been a brilliant video a poorer one. Sometimes I have seen it so bad it is hard to hear what the person is saying, spoils it for the film maker and for the viewer. This one was nice though, well done. :-))

    No not Florida. Man I was just planning a trip to Spanish Forks to see you guys. How about a midwest location? Say the Center of The Nation in Belle Fourche S.D. where we hunt coyotes from the air. We have better flying weather than Texas or Fla. says the U.S.A.F. Locate here.

    • @AirgyroAviation
      @AirgyroAviation  5 років тому +1

      Florida is a nice place to visit too! The midwest would be cool too. If you get a few people out there that will do training, we will come to you! set it up! As for a location, we just need to find someone that will put an Airgyro Dealership there.
