A Life Update | A Gift For You

We are so thankful for the community that we have here on UA-cam as well as our community that we have in our home. God has been so good to us.
I want you to know how you lift me up when I am down, when I feel like I am struggling to get things done and when I am living this life the best I know how. You are all so encouraging and I love that you are teaching me things in the comments or asking me to know and grow more as I search out answers to your questions. You are just a blessing all the time!
Thank you to the 5,000 + that have come into our home and watched a video. I remember when I hit 100 subscribers and I could not believe that many people were interested in what I had to offer. Now there are so many more. You have shared with. me the type of videos you look forward to so I hope to fulfull those desires as the months go by.
You are amazing and I love you all! Thank you for not giving up on us and for sharing our videos with others.
“POEM”
The time has come, the days grow short,
A chill runs through the air.
We look back on old twenty-four
And find good mem'ries there.
How can there be good feelings though
When so much went awry?
We look back on a host of things
And heave a hearty sigh.
We lost some birds to predators
The rest refused to lay.
We'll start a new flock in the spring,
The old ones "gone away."
Potatoes sweet and not so sweet
Emerged from in the dirt.
We dug them up with willing hands
And then our muscles hurt.
The squash bugs got the best of us,
The moles dug up our ground,
But all in all creation showed
That blessings still abound.
Some yellow jackets nested in
Our compost pile this year,
Mark got the point when they grew mad;
They stung him here and here.
Thanksgiving comes this time each year.
It makes our hearts grow warm.
And there is much to celebrate
Here on Open Hand Farm.
What's happened in the year gone by?
What's caused us to give thanks?
We've lots of jars with lots of food,
Like money in the bank.
Five thousand people have joined in
And pushed "Subscribe." Hurray!
But more than that, the comments flow
And brighten gloomy days.
We faced the pantry challenge months,
And found we'd been prepared.
The grocery stores were left ignored,
But there was food to share.
Our kids moved out and took their dogs.
Now we make lots of noise.
We needn't fret of ending naps
Nor stepping on their toys.
It gives us joy to share our lives,
Our triumphs and our chores.
And so we will be quick to say
"Blessings on you and yours."
