In this original work conceived for the Wayback installation, the composer Nokosee Fields integrates the fiddle, field recordings, wind instruments, with the sonorous voice of his Aunt Lottie Shunkamolah, speaking in the Osage language. The depth of textures, and the movement of sound itself, intermingles with the environment surrounding the platforms, further animating the space.
