This dude was certainly born in the middle of the bayou...his voice is extremely awesome...
We used to swim in the bayou in our backyard and my momma would fuss at us because it was full of moccasins. Never saw a gator in it though.

Wow! Jesus, what a tremendous voice -- which is the key to this song, or any song for that matter. A voice like this warrants
a more sophisticated recording process. To me, it sounds like this is recorded in mono; I would love to hear a stereo/studio production of the song in stereo with some additonal, song- approriate accompanient, i.e., bass, rthym guitar, piano, etc., It would be surreal good -- but then again, unplugged/simple is pretty damn good too.
