Bro I really appreciate this reaction Burden really be spitting how alot of us feel, as a white guy who grew up in the hood most my life. And spent years in prison, got my ass beaten by police while handcuffed, got profiled every day cuz of the neighborhood I lived in. I never got this white privilege that people be talking about. Regardless i got myself out the trap aint had no rich family to give me a leg up in the world. i took the train every day to a low paying job and commuted 5 hrs each way every day, and would rent roach bag motels to stay near my job. Until the owner made me a partner in the business because he seen the commitment. You're drive is the only thing pushing you forward or holding you back in life. I would never judge someone for their level of pigment and the only reason the media does it is to keep us divided. Together there aint nothing these crooked politicians could get away with but divided they win. much love and respect

The white privilege thing really pisses me off, because for one thing it's racist, for another thing I had a single mother, grew up around drugs and partying. I was always locked up. I did a year in jail when I was fifteen. I was a heroin addict for 15 years. Also did a year in prison for an empty bag. White privilege isn't a thing.

I love that you called it colorism. Because racism is actually used incorrectly when classifying skin color. The word "race" that aspect is actually only used to discribe color when talking about human beings. But then we also say human race which is the correct usage of the word since in everything else (movies, literature, games and other media) race is used to define a entire cluster of creatures. For instance... In RPGs such as elder scrolls or World of Warcraft. When it tells you to choose your race during character creation it's not changing skin tones, it is choosing between orcs, elves, humans, dwarves, and others. Just like aliens would be an alien race, the word that could be used is species, because species is used to discribe a subgroup within a race. Like flowers would be roses lily's and sunflowers. With primates it would be gorillas, orangutans and chimpanzees. And humans honestly if you connect homosapiens to primates
