I have never seen such beautiful arrangements of shells, and it is unique to use shells for mosaics. It reminds me of murals that I have seen from ancient Mediterranean culture such as the Minoan, where artists made simply beautiful tiled areas with painted likenesses of sea life. I love your work.

I reallise that I did not put a much needed disclaimer in my video. When I say in my video "grab your shells" I mean either shells you already have, or shells bought from official seller. I don't advise to pick them from the beach, especially in places that have been already stripped of they're ecosystem due to overtourism. In fact, due to the later we have rules and regulations on picking up shells from the beaches since 2018 in Greece, and I'm sure that many other countries might have something similar as well. The shells I use in my works have been collected 30-40 years ago by my mother; it was back in a simpler time when tourism to Greece wasn't even a thing and they have been collected through the years. I am sorry for not putting a disclaimer before but I've seen some of your comments that mention this and I do agree that we shouldn't remove shells from the beaches anymore. Thank you for the understanding and for your support.
Very artistic. Beautiful art. Coming from an island, I too love the ocean and shells. There is a documentary on line and the scientist was asking people to please return all the shells back to the ocean . 😢
Thank my dearest and I’m so sorry about the 🐚, I made my request here in Crete for bringing back the shells but they couldn’t tell me! I’m made my research and again nothing. Anyway I can only say that we humans are destroying the planet,it's not just the shells but seeing people throwing away rubbish and especially plastic is not very nice neither and much more….😔 In today’s society people are not caring about nature so much like the old days… We can just do what we can and taking care about nature and our loved ones♥️☮️

When i was a kid growing up next/close to the beach, you could pick up anything, like all the stuff in your collection and seaglass too! Big conch shells like in the Bahamas and i live in the Northern part of The Gulf of Mexico! We even found a seahorse we thought was alive. So we picked it up, right then we knew it was dead. But what a find just floating like it was swimming 2 feet from shore. I live on an island too. I hardly go to the beach either. To many people and most are rude, no maners on how to behave. Like throwing sand! It's crazy. Your work is so beautiful. I still have to go back and watch the table you made for your Mother? It's beautiful! I wish I had your talent! We should leave the Shells where they belong now. The reason there aren't so many at that Beach is also right here. I also have many Shells that My GrandMother collected. I wasn't sure what to do with them. This is a beautiful way to use them. But, we are seeing the effects of things our Parentals and GrandParents caused without realizing. We need to be more mindful of our impacts. That's a lot of Shells for one Person. The affects of many are impactful.
I don’t pick up shells from the beach, unfortunately I don’t even have time to go to the beach if I wanted to… These shells are something my mother collected back in the day we didn’t even have tourists like today. I realized they would just gather dust in vases around the house so I decide to make something far nicer with them for my garden. Enjoy life ♥️☮️

We should leave the Shells where they belong now. The reason there aren't so many at that Beach is also right here. I also have many Shells that My GrandMother collected. I wasn't sure what to do with them. This is a beautiful way to use them. But, we are seeing the effects of things our Parentals and GrandParents caused without realizing. We need to be more mindful of our impacts. That's a lot of Shells for one Person. The affects of many are impactful.
I don’t pick up shells from the beach, unfortunately I don’t even have time to go to the beach if I wanted to…
These shells are something my mother collected back in the day we didn’t even have tourists like today.
I realized they would just gather dust in vases around the house so I decide to make something far nicer with them for my garden.

What kind of sand do you use? It looks so white the one that I bought is not that white it’s kind of brownish not happy😢
Don’t worry, every country has his own materials, maybe the color looks different. In the place where you buy the cement you will need also sand for mixing it, you can use the same sand.

A tip for you because some people showed me the work and did some mistakes, maybe you will be interested in the latest video. Important is with shells to use a normal brush and not a metal one.

Latex is a glue liquid that you mix with the cement. When you buy the cement ask in the shop they will have the right one.
