@@melodious2261 well BSGO had huge scale battles with about 500-1000 people and you were playing zoomed because u had to control your ship :D ah i miss that game so much there wont be probably as good game as BSGO was. This is not even compareable with BSGO :/ i was looking for something which can substitue for BSGO but that task is unreal. :C

They say that "to travel hopefully is better than to arrive". So much is certainly true in Eve. I played it for sundry months a few years ago before concluding that being a space pirate was significantly more boring than my real life. The final straw was ganging together with some friends to attack spacecraft in low-security space. It took 40 minutes for any suitable target to arrive and the action was over in 15 seconds. By the time I had fired my missiles, the target had already been destroyed by someone else.

Yeah. I ran one fleet op when I was with GSF. Warped around for 30 mins the enemy fleet disengaged and ran. Woot! I won and never even locked up a target. So👏 much👏 fun👏💀.
Though I can see the appeal for that moment when you get a fleet to engage you. I just didn't have the time to zip around in a ball all day and not kill anything. I went back to FW. Where people just run away then too.
Does it also feature Ice cube??

You can zoom in and see each and every one
But it is not the best combat wise
it was zoom out
if zoomed in and see how they orbit and approach, you would kinda understand a bit

Nice job. Most Eve battle videos are presented in accelerated time and with music covering up the chat and strategy.
I think the appeal of EVE is in managing a real time strategy empire and playing politics in a virtual world. It's not just space battles and warfare, most of it is trading and managing economies and control over regions. The difference is the intricate lore is created by the players, and so rather than being quest-directed like other MMO's like WoW where the developers create the lore, EVE is a free for all with how the world evolves and how the differences between factions are settled. Just like in real life, most people are bit players, with few being important enough to rise to the top of a hierarchy within their lifetime, and so for the average player EVE is a game where your influence is relatively small and you can feel compelled to drudgery and disappointment if you're expecting more.

Generally, commands are repeated 3 times in eve. The general consensus is, if it's not repeated 3 times, it's instructions, not commands.
And repeating 3 times effectively means DO IT NOW BITCH NOW, and it is way less confusing that way.
And here we have 4 times, because, well, PL is bad.
@@Shareezz I've started playing since I posted this. I definitely get it now lol. I've seen the repercussions of laid back fc's only saying something once and the people asleep at the keyboard stand still like their computer froze when we're all on anchor trying to do whatever. Even rewatching this though, I still think 4 times is excessive haha.
Not only was there nothing to watch until 30 minutes in, but like it's mentioned before, from your pov nothing was worth seeing and all we hear is hard to follow comms voices, so... meh?

This game looks pretty good. I wish I had the time to play and the money to invest in a good computer that could handle it. I think my little HP laptop would fry just trying to log in lol
Even from a low end pc you can play. Just turn graphics to low mode. Maybe your pc will have a stroke if a big battle goes down. But you can still get in on smaller fights and do other things in eve. Such as mine. Make sure your corp has a stable economy. You can build ships for people to fight with and sell them for a valuable profit and the possibilities go on. You should try it. You might like it.
Bad Juice I am interested in the game, but I am wondering...is it possible to do the lone scavenger/trader thing? I mean, do I HAVE to join a Corp (alliance?) in order to survive? Ideally, I would like to just explore the universe and whatnot. Is that an option?

Well fight doesn't start till about 25mins into the video. when fighting starts it looks like to mobs trying to zerg each other haha...kind of boring with that many people. Can't really tell what is happening.

Ok but why were they fighting in the first place? I dont play eve so what were the motivations of the opposing fleets?
Either they want loot, faction warfare (money rewards), to destroy a structure of an opponents to make themselves a more major freeport, or fighting over systems for the sake of owning parts of nullsec.

You click buttons based on what type of ship you have and what it does, say I press "orbit target" and have a long range weapon I might destroy my target, so some skill required.

PArece un juego muy estático. Siempre que veo gameplays son todos vistos a distancia de las naves, nada en tercera persona (clasico poca distancia) o primera persona. Estoy intentando encontrarle la gracia pero me cuesta. Creo que no lo jugaré. Por lo demás puede ser un gran juego desde lo táctico, gestión de recursos, crafteo pero pero su jugabilidad en mecanicas de combate, meh.
