Great information,thanks for sharing. I'm also planning on running dual 3s batteries on my scx6 also using the parallel leads. This helped me out alot as I this rig is the first rig I will run 2 batteries at the same time. Thanks again

Thank you for sharing the video link. I wish I had seen it earlier before purchasing the 3S 10000mah batteries. It seems that they will work on the Scx6 honcho as long as I have them in parallel, as you mentioned. However, I will have an issue trying to fit them in the Scx6's battery tray, as these batteries are almost 2 inches longer than the trays.
I might need to return these batteries and get smaller 3S 7000mah ones, unless I can find a bigger battery tray.
Thank you once again for sharing the excellent video. I am learning a lot and plan to upgrade my Scx6 honcho with the same parts as you.

Amain hobbies has battery trays. Not sure how much longer they are though.

I don't normally comment, but the way you did this Video I just have to let you know it is absolutely perfect in every way, great explanation and demonstration ... I just got my SCX-6 the same one you have and was double checking on the Parallel setup ... I am running 3s per the Instructions but it seems like it's ok to run these on 4s?... Great Video!!!

Yes, you can run the stock SCX6 on 4s. Either 2 4s batteries on parallel, or 2 2s in a series
