- Welcome back to the channel! Over the last few weeks a lot of you have been asking me for a follow up from my video at the Kingdom to see what I ended up with in my bag for 2024. So here it is. I go through the specifics of what I’m using and why and hopefully gives you more insight into what I look for when getting fit for clubs.
We’ll have a video soon on the yardages I hit each club where we’ll go into that a bit more as well!

I hit 5 woods and hybrids way too high! Never liked them for me personally!

hey mate why did u choose the tour issue for the wedges instead of the project x in 6.0 if you prefer a softer option for your wedges? like why not staying with one shaft for everyrthing ?
Just a feel I like mate! Always have run that setup as the S400 feels softer to me therefore easier to hit all my off speed shots with! The 6.0 has a more continuous stiffness through the entire club, while the s400 feels like it has a fraction more “kick” at the bottom! Hope that makes sense!
So, you have a training aid that you couldn't find, so you made it yourself -- the putting rail. I can't be the only one that has no idea what that is. Mind explaining it (and the associated mirror)?
My next video I’m going to show how I made it, and what I use it for !!
Any specific reason for practicing with a putter rail? According to Sasho Mackenzie's studies, putter arc is not an important metric. Speed control is by far most important, then face angle, then impact location since it affects speed (although it's uncommon to misshit enough to matter), and lastly arc (again uncommon to have a bad enough arc to significantly alter startline). And if you're practicing by dragging the putter shaft against the rail then you're teaching yourself to pull the putter towards you when the rail is gone.
Or are you using the rail for some other purpose?
I work on all of those things mate. But the metric that gives me the best feel on course is my arc. I work against the rail and then move off it and try and mimic that about 1 inch away the from the rail. Speed control is something myself and every tour pro would work on a daily basis too. This for me has just given me a very good feel that I can trust on course for a very long time

Nope I really don’t like 5 woods at all personally. Long irons have always been my strength so not something I’ve ever felt like I needed

Hi mate, how would you know when a shaft is too soft for your swing speeds? I have regular flex pretty much throughout my bag, and if I try swing hard I seem to get inconsistent spin and even low point. I know most of it will be down to my swing technique, but just wondering what the signs are to look for so I don't go making unnecessary swing changes when it's actually the equipment that needs changing.

Im guessing there is some kind of marking on the balls that end up getting sorted by the course staff and then back into those shag bags. The quad has the tour strap which leads me to believe he got it free or super discounted.
Yes I use TP5x on the range. Spoiled for sure but lets me get numbers that are identical to what I want to see on course. We’re lucky at where I play there are many pros so they sort our specific ball for us. I paid the tour rate for GC Quad which is a couple thousand under retail
