Bigest problem on this watch is the Depth alarm system. Only one alarm can be set, as an "maximal security depth" alarm. Watch will bip-bip-bip-bip-bip..... till you are back above the selected depth. This is great for the safety of spearfishers, but not for freedivers who need to relax during their dives. Freediver needs short bip when reach selected depths (like freefall depth, then few meter befor your goal). The new model, Salvimar "Deeper" corrected this problem and offer 5 intermediate depth alarms. I would have love to get bigger characters for the depth too. However, the DIVE mode work nicely.
Hello! Thanks for the video and explanations. Just a question. When you enter dive mode, you don't have to hit "start", right? It's simply already active and when you do the apnea it starts to count by itself, right? And to turn off the diving mode, you simply change to "time" mode for example and everything is saved in record, right?
Does the watch automatically calculate your required surface time or does it just start counting up once you surface? So do you have to see how long your last dive was then watch it?
Nope. The watch don’t do the calculation. It just start counting when you surface the watch. And go back into depth and dive time mode once the watch senses pressure resulting from diving again
Thanks for the translation. Actually It will stop counting down after a certain duration. nothing to worry about. I'm guessing that the location of the dive and the home is not too far? it usually takes like more than 10 minutes surface time to automatically jump to time mode. Or you can just manually press mode button to get out of dive mode Merci pour la traduction.
Merci infinement .
hello..I used it for the first time but as soon as I entered the water and started to go down it didn't automatically switch to dive mode, why? I had to manually enter the dive interface, which I shouldn't do..... is this normal? Or is there some setting? Or malfunctioning? Thank you, I await yours
I bought this watch because it is by far cheaper than everything else out there. I’m a 6m-10m freediver and this watch works excellent for my needs
Wonderful
Thanks for explaining so clear and very detailed ❤

does it start to measure the dive time automaticly?
This is my only question as well. Did you ever get an answer? I don't want to have to manually start the five mode each time I go down.
@@TreyDeuce109 yeah man i got the watch when you dive and come up you will see the dive time max depth and it starts to measure surface time
Could you please tell me how long the battery lasts by ordinary freediving?
I use it for about a year before the original battery dies off. I change a new battery recently.
@@KionzChan you did it yourself

The watch shows the last dive time and last depth when you are back on the surface.
Is it possible to transfer the information to a computer?
does the sensor should be totally out of water to count the surface time
because im gonna buy one to use it for spearfishing so i don't have to get my hand out of water every time i reach the surface can you explain please
@@elprofesor622 no, you don’t need to totally get out of water: it will go into surface time mode when it’s less than 1 meters approx.
@@KionzChan tnx
@@elprofesor622 much welcome
thanks for this! i’m gonna buy one :)
You are much welcome. Enjoy and have fun
Does this compute decompression?
Nope it does not
7 minutes max dive time? Aspirational haha
I have last question, I have a low volume snorkeling mask. Can I use it for spearfishing?
As long as its low volume. You Can
Pourquoi le temp de surface ne s'arrête pas même dans la maison la montre continue a calculé le temps de surface. S'il vous plaît comme le stoper???
Sorry I tried translating your language but I still cannot understand what is your question. Can you make your question more simpler?
They ask why it the watch still counting down even when they get home

From everything I've read this is normal for this watch - you must enter dive mode manually as it doesn't support auto switching.
so set it to dive mode and it will start as soon as you begin your dive ? Thank :)
Yes. Once you are in dive mode, the watch sensors is working and will give you all the data when contact with waters and depth.
Thank you. Where did you get certified?
In Malaysia under the padi certification. You may be interested to watch my ups and downs here, ua-cam.com/video/-4urKB_fk-c/v-deo.html
Does it have surface time after every dive?
Yes it does.
@@KionzChan thank you i just purchased one from decathlon with the black bezel.
@@hards7yl3 much welcome. Enjoy your dive
Is it compatible with other straps if it breaks?
Unfortunately no. Their straps are unique fit to the body
Hello, can anyone respond, do i need to hit the dive mode button every time i want to dive down? Or once in the dive mode is enough?
İs automatic after 1m deep
Great video
Does it give accent and decent speed?
Nope
Nope it doesnt
