    Hey, Reed:
I'm glad you were able to make it to CES 2020. I look forward to hearing your detailed reviews and analyses of the information you learned on show's floor.
Today's CES reminds me of the "Golden Years of Technology," when I attended COMDEX from 1988 to 1998. Especially during the late 1980s and early 1990s, COMDEX was the "old wild west" of cutting-edge computer technology. Attendees were able to speak directly with hardware engineers and software developers at their respective show booths.
The event ran Monday through Friday, with private corporate suite meetings on Sunday before the show.
In those days, attending five days of COMDEX was like a semester long, college-level crash course in computer science. It was very overwhelming, but EXCITING and inspirational.
    Kind regards,
    T.
