I feel like giving Cathy a hug sometimes. I relate to her a lot, being a lonely person because I'm not interested in stuff general teenage kids are interested in. Most children my age are interested in modern stuff like K-pop and all, but I prefer black and white classics and older stuff. Nice to see her not being a doormat for once.
It's a TV show; blame the writers, not the fictitious character. But it's nice to see young people interested in the oldies; I was the same when I was a kid, only with OTR.

there was no vhf or uhf i forget until the 70's, only cables that were used were hooked up to the antenna on the roof to the wood console tv, a real piece of furniture..
When I was young I hated it when my friends pretended to be interested in something like soccer or boxing or cars just to make boys notice them. And the boys were so stupid, always felt flattered while it was all lies and a ting. I wanted to slap both, the boys and my friends. . I would have hated Patty.
