Grace jones was one of the entertainers on that tape. It was her first time singing back home. She sang my Jamaican guy. I remember just staring at her. She was naturally beautiful. She had a radiance about her. Jimmy cliff, third world, Ziggy Marley and the melody makers, and more. The early eighties in the Bronx, n.y. ……..I will always cherish those memories!😇

I really don't care about the gossip. Chicken-heads are forever going to be cluckin' and talkin' smack about the real ballers who are doing IT, while gossipers remain mediocre and irrelevant. When I look at Grace what I see is somebody who came from nothing and had triflin' bullies in her life, like 'Master P.,' trying to break her spirit, (because they're simple, small and insecure), but she had an unflappable sense of self, steel-like personal power, and belief in who she was, she overcame all that and THRIVED. Particularly in an era when it was damn near impossible for somebody who looked like her to reach the heights she achieved. All the rest is noise, honey. She is an extraordinary human being. THAT'S the story worth telling.
