You know right iguanas are banned in our country as of new amendment?
They are imported and not the native species of our country so one can keep them ..
They aren't ban in india at all, you need parivesh papers to keep it legally in india as a pet
They are not banned but forest department should be informed.
It would be illegal to release iguanas in indian ecosystem since they don't belong to India
