I stayed in a same job for 10 years after my graduation, salary grown 5 folds, sat Sunday off, was taking leaves at will, 3 days WFH in a week. Thought to came out of comfort zone and Just tried and gave an interview and the offer I got was almost double the current salary. Had I stayed at the first company it would have taken almost 5-6 years to double the salary.
This has been going on since 40 years being the same story .. you think companies will double your salary by. Staying for 20 years in the same company plus u must be not even be learning bor doing the job correctly
The best part of having a 9-5 job is that you get more time to spend with family, yes it's not flexible but it's manageable at least while a business requires immense time throughout the week, leaving little time for family and even for ourselves.

I came here to learn how to invest after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $960,000 in 4 months from $160k, somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm still confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.
Interesting. I have a lump sum doing absolutely nothing at all in my bank account, I wanna get something started with it. You seem to be doing excellent for yourself, how do you achieve this?
@Robin Vanessa That's impressive. Are you giving her your money or the money stays in your trading account? What's really the idea behind copying trades.
Good video and advice! After working and being here for a very longgggg time. My mantras are: one has to love what they do, as mental health is EVERYTHING! As you need to have a peaceful life!! In my banking career, I’ve seen families fight and unable to maintain their properties. Specially in covid time, divorce rates are on rise in our communities. Also as a single couple, it’s very easy to save money, as raising children in Canada is damn expensive! Mine are in universities and the expenses are skyrocketing! In the end it all comes down to Your happiness!! I follow few UA-camrs. They’ve properties, good jobs, money and their mental and physical health has taken toll!! Which money cannot BUY!! Health is wealth!! Khush raho and live peaceful life!! 🙏🙏
It's better to start changing jobs for better roles, salary, environment etc much earlier in your career, because that helps you understand your self worth and grow before the weight of responsibility, society and family comes upon ones shoulder. later you feel you have so much too lose and doubt your self worth. that being said less than 6 months job hopping might be seen as a negetive thing by recruiters. learnt from a friend who successfully changed 8 jobs in 12 years, his salary increased 3000 - 3Lpm within the time, without any additional certification or education. Having them should further add to your profile and growth.
Thanks for your video guys. I am like super confused about my marketing career (my experience is like a mix of many things including digital, design, writing, website - kinda one person doing it all! )Its been one year to my job in Canada and I thought it will be easier to switch for a second job. But no luck so far! My salary jump was good and unusual but I badly wanna move for reasons you mentioned.

I already have PR , in canada and having more then 9 years of work experience. It’s just that for one job there are so many candidates and you don’t get selected after first or second interview. It’s a bitter truth that it’s hard for a newcomer to get jobs in their field.

Hi Nav & Simran, Thank you for this amazing video. This helps alot to get the idea about canadian job market. I am actually looking for Salesforce Developer related job in Canada. I will be moving yo Canada next month. i am having open work permit and my wife is already in Canada is also working in a IT firm. i understand there are a lot of jobs in Canada when I see LinkedIn portal, but even after applying I am not getting any response. Hi Sarthak, I can resonate with you. Was in a similar situation till last week. Joined an organization in Vancouver this week, took me 3 months to reach there. Salesforce Vancouver office is near to my office so felt a connect. I’m also on Open Work Permit and from my experience I can say that most organizations are not really welcoming to people with work permit because that has end date. Try reaching out to recruiters or go for contract position to start with.
Thanks for the reply Jaspreet . Yes, even i am assuming the organisations there are considering the local talent having citizenship or atleast PR. I am actually applying for all jobs related to Salesforce technology. My main idea currently is to atleast get a call for interview.
