- This happens to be a 73 TR6 with a J-type overdrive which had issues, but I talk about A-type as well and most importantly I give you a tip how to narrow the problem down to electrical or mechanical as this is pretty hard to determine sometimes.

The financial support to the channel doesn't buy you anything special. There is no such thing as early access or VIP content here as I don't want to take away from those who can't afford it. The financial support is your way of saying "Thank you Elin for taking the time to edit these videos!", but only if you feel like it and you can afford it. Just being here, watching, liking, sharing is also a big support and I appreciate it.
THANK YOU!

You are simply the best! A genius with all your knowledge and practical thinking.Great work❤️
Great troubleshooting! There is no substitute for a good workshop manual and schematics.
Elin, I noticed the the temp gauge seemed to be rather high. It seemed to be high after you turned the engine off so perhaps the gauge is at fault.
Great fix Elin.. You saved the cost of a new OD switch as well.
As always, Elin, your video is informative and inspires confidence in the novice do-it-yourselfer like me. Thanks!
Excellent diagnostic work Elin. I'm a big fan of Deoxit D5. Stuff is pretty dear and available on Amazon but I use it in my shop and the stuff is Excellent. Bullet connections blow chunks. Lol. Love your videos. One of the few all around guys left. Thanks.
Very informative.
Thanks Elin.
Loved the way you dig through that snakes nest - a real buggers muddle. Lord save all car owners from tinkerers, and thank goodness there are knowledgeable and systematic people like you. Loved the vid. Cheers from New Zealand.
Amazing as always Elin !
This is very helpful for me as I am trying to sort out the same wiring issues on my TR6. Very good information.
Super detective work! Thanks.
Nice to have a beginning to end video.
Excellent troubleshooting, thanks 👍
Very nice Elin.
Great explanation. Thanks.
Oh man, I'm liking that probe!
Elin, I hope the new projects still deal with Triumph automobiles. Personally I couldn't care less about Miatas etc. Just my feeling about the matter. Love the channel just the way it is.

Great work just noticed that the temp gauge was running hot check it out.
"Better-er" love it !
Nice bit of logical troubleshooting Elin. speaking as an electronics engineer, which I have been all my working life, a bit of good quality contact cleaner (deoxit has been mentioned) and/or a touch of di-electric grease wouldn't go amiss for the longevity of that switch. Looking forward to all your up-coming projects.
40 minutes can Never be too long!
Thanks Elin
First 😉 Nice Fix!
Glad it was simple. Now it's "more betterer" 😂
I spy Elin’s holiday suntan !

Hi Elin, could you turn the volume up a bit please, I could barely hear you. Cheers
Ok, so it was a mechanical problem AND an electrical problem ?
Now you have a philosophical problem…. 😊
