I think that’s the thing. Kashimo both hyped Hakari up by giving a great fight and visa versa, establishing both as really strong special grades. Which also established a baseline (that isn’t Gojo) for when he fought Sakuna. Kashimo was broadly equal to Hikari when amped up, thus we established that even weakened, Sakuna is far more dangerous then any other combatant.

Kashimo doninated in his fight against Hakari and the only reason he lost was because of the water taking alll his cursed energy. Remember that Hakari did no serious damage to Kashimo the entire fight
Yep plus on top of this, pre time skip yuta stated hakari on a roll (which was the case against kashimo) was stronger than him (yuta). That and Gojo said 80% of a sorcerer's potency is based off their CT so basically 20% kashimo was dominating Hakari at full potential.
Hakari did not seriously damage him AND if it weren't for the immortality that hitting a jackpot grants him he would have died,as Kashimo did cause some fatal injuries to him like 4 times in the fight the only thing saving Hakari being his immortality.
Love that you made a video on this, many people reading this manga pretty much make fun of any character that loses, it's pretty grating. Mentioning that current Sukuna is just getting weaker and weaker is something most people can't even understand. Absolutely true that the Sukuna that fought Gojo was peak strength. Let's not forget that Yuta AND Yuji are fighting Sukuna, with every power up they got, and they're STILL losing AFTER he's fought Gojo, Kashimo, and the Higuruma/Yuji combo. He's losing power the entire time and exhausted his DE and RCT. Another thing people don't take into account is that Sukuna has only used dimensional slash on Kashimo the entire battle, whereas he has only just gotten a SINGLE one off on Yuta/Yuji and it devastates them. He sent an entire latice formation of dimensional slashes at Kashimo to be able to hit him, probably because of his immense speed. That had to have drained him after using a few other single stroke dimensional slashes, as well. People always bring up the DE as thought Kashimo doesn't know HYB and doesn't have an innate sure-hit technique completely outside of a DE requirement. On top of that, Kashimo is said many times to be at the height of speed and his strategy revolves around blitzing targets. Who's to say that he would even let most characters get off their hand formations to use their techniques and/or DE? The only one he's fought that he had trouble with was peak form Sukuna who can chant while fighting. People saying Okkotsu wipes the floor with Kashimo just don't comprehend the author's own statements on his strength. They make fun of Gojo like he didn't press Sukuna to his absolute limit and they make fun of Kashimo like he didn't go up against one of the only characters that can possibly withstand his lightning quick assault, not to mention Sukuna having a lightning relic to help negate Kashimo's innate lightning-infused CE. Finally, someone justifies Gege's own words of Kashimo being one of the strongest, THANK YOU. P.S. Keep coping haters, Gojo and Kashimo will always have been insanely strong, in this universe, to have ever existed. Sukuna is just capable of being stronger than even them.

Kashimo is even weirder in retrospect considering almost every reincarnated sorcerer that we've seen (Uraume, Uro, Ryu, Hazenoki), but especially the strong ones, have all had access to RCT. Given that, you'd think Kashimo would be, like, an even stronger Kusakabe with total mastery of all the fundamental cursed energy manipulation abilities, but he doesn't seem to have RCT and the only barrier technique we see him use is Hollow Wicker Basket. Why would he use rct? The only injury he ever got in the manga, was a cut to his hand. Who says he doesnt have rct, when clearly he never was put in any situation where he even needed it, same with Domain Expansion, "but Suku-" Kashimo wanted a fun fight, not to just slide in and one shot, who knows of he had a domain or not, Sukuna literally nuked him harder than any other character in the series has ever gotten nuked, so we'll never know

Ryu has one of the best CE control in the series and he holds the highest CEO known in the series, so it's not that Kashimo's era was weak he just didn't fight anyone that really made him go all out. Kenjaku tells him to go fight Ryu but instead he chose to fight a heavily weakened Sukuna that could blitz him regardless.

I think it's his mentality. We know that sorcerers' mentality, especially towards themselves impacts their abilities. Kashimo is a cocky guy who always gives himself the most challenge possible, like going head to head with an immortal Hikari. He probably didn't even want to learn them because they were "safe" in his eyes.
I honestly knew he would die against Sukuna but i expected him to last a little more, that's all. Maybe 2/3 chapters as opposed to how he lasted 1 chapter and a half. I genuinely wanted to see more of his CT for how hyped it was, which for what was stated, is actually pretty op, it allows him to conjure ANY electricity/lightning related phenomena, the possibilities are near endless.
I think a Toji VS Kashimo video is on order bc personally, Kashimo is another dog in the series and definitely a force to be reckoned with BEFORE he uses his cursed technique. Not to mention, he is a very good tactician to try and come up with crazy ways to take on Hikari
With Kashimos natural surehit he would force any Domain user to deaths door and forcefully shut that down with people named Sukuna, Gojo and Jackpot Hakari as the only exeptions. With his endurance that he showed against Hakari, even if he is busy maintaining "Hollow Wicker Basket", he should hold out for quite some time or atleast until a single charge goes of. For me he sits comfortably just below Sukuna and Gojo.

The second Yuta opens his Domain, Kashimo instantly loses his ability to punch because his hands are now stuck using Hollow Wicker Basket. Kashimo’s sure hit lightning bolt can be tanked with strong enough CE Reinforcement, healed with RCT or just avoided entirely by not getting punched 4-5 times. Yuta can do all 3. Yuta has the *2nd* highest CE output & capacity in all of JJK. And is a prodigy at RCT. Unlike Yuta, Kashimo doesn’t have RCT to regenerate any damage he receives. If Rika manages to get a hold of him for even a split second, he’s getting bisected in half with Cleave/Dismantle. If Heian-Era Sukuna couldn’t speed blitz Base Yuta, Kashimo can also forget about that strategy.

Neither Ryu, Druv or Kurorushi had a direct counter to her but were dangerous enough to threaten her. His domain would allow Yuta to press Kashimo for a time yes but it wouldnt invalidate the charge up. Every part of his body can be used to charge his opponent up so even clashing in cqc with Kashimo is dangerous. In theory this is correct but not even Sukuna could do that. Tanking is out of the question for Yuta if Hakari in Jackpot gets literaly limbs removed and brick sized holes appear on his abdomen. Healing is possible for most wounds but the time it would take for Yuta, who is tier below Sukunas and Gojos healing speed, would be nothing to sneeze at. Hakari could power through this because he is Hakari. No one else will be capable to do this to his extend. Avoiding hits is possible as this isnt a missmatch but he will have to land hits and Kashimo will also land hits. Both of whitch are charging up his Lightning bolt. In his "Phantom Beast Amber" state he can restracture his body with cursed energy. That is how he got his breath attack and reshaped his hand after he got hit by Sukunas "World Slash". In a way it may be more cost efficient than RCT as it isnt double the amount of normal CE. Rika is the big factor in this fight that im not sure of. For the moment i say Kashimo can for the most part deal with it simply because his Cursed Energy makes it hard for opponents to touch him. Holding him is probably even harder. As for now we havent seen Fully Manifested Rika with Sukunas Finger so my oppinion on that might change. Yutas "Cleave" is nothing compared to Sukunas. Even with lowerd control of his body and with the same amount of Cursed Energy as Yuta he only took slight flesh wounds on his head and one of eyes. Sukuna used the same "Cleave" shortly after and made Yujis upper chest area dissapear. Thats a clear difference in mastery if you ask me. Well in the light of the new chapter i wouldnt say Sukuna couldnt but in this matchup there should be no speed blitz.
Yeah I think kashimo is above everyone too. Keep in mind after using his cursed technique he was fightning a stronger sukuna. Since by the time Yuta fights him he’s already been punched by yuji several times which lessen his cursed energy output each time. And while most of jjk is matchup based Yuta comments on hakari being stronger than him when he’s on a roll (aka multiple jackpots) which kashimo fights and nearly wins. So he’s already high relative to a character stronger than Yuta and Yuta and hakari are stated equals post time skip. So I don’t think there’s much basis for kashimo being weaker than either of them. It’s just easier for people to see Yuta winning because they are fighting a heavily weakened sukuna. So they can show more abilities off and aren’t just getting one shot

He was fighting an Sukuna that was weaker than the one Yuta fought, and Sukuna before his fight with Yuta was hit only once by Yuji but despite that, Sukuna still was stated to have regained some of his output after the fights with Kashimo, Yuji and Higuruma. Hakari with multiple JPs or not is not stronger than even base Yuta, Maki herself who knows about Hakari's JP confirmed this by stating that's not true, and she's being supported by Yuta's feats. Gojo in every possible timeline puts Yuta and Hakari as equals, that's why there's the entire cast stating that Yuta is the stronger one. Gojo is simply unreliable and he's been proven to be wrong multiple times.

World Cutting Dismantle is just a dismantle enhanced by a binding vow to extend its target area to the world itself. It's how the World Cutting Dismantle works you should be focused on. Sukuna has a binding vow where he HAS to do handsigns and chant "Twin Meteors", "Recoil", "Dragon Scales", after which, he lets off ONE World Cutting Dismantle, meaning the technique requires charge up and therefore is telegraphed, meaning he can't spam it willy-nilly. Therefore, it's impossible for even Sukuna to create a net of World Cutting Dismantle, especially in the span of time he yeeted Kashimo.

And even if Gege didn't show him making the chants, fact is, the World Cutting Dismantle requires a "charge up" in the form of handsigns and chanting before he can let one off, which by the way, is always ONE singular slash, meaning it's impossible to do so fast enough to make a net. By the time he finishes making another, the one before has either hit or miss its target. What's likely is that Sukuna simply killed Kashimo with a net of maximum output dismantles.

I touched on hits very briefly in one of my viewer question videos but I just don't think Megumi is piloting Sukuna's body, but even if he was, I don't think he possesses the knowledge/skill to do the dimensional dismantle. In the same way Yuji couldn't just do cleave/dismantle automatically after Sukuna did it in his body.

I like how kashimo’s ct is basically like 8-gates the activated ct is like a binding vow were he unleashes the full power. This cause there’s really no difference between what he can do in both forms just control and power.
The ability to convert to any type of electrical phenomena was definitely not explored enough. You’re telling me this guy was able to transform into radio signals, lightning bolts, and theoretically storm clouds, but couldn’t dodge sukuna’s world-cutting slashes? Definitely interesting.
Plus another thing I noticed is in terms of hand to hand or close quarters fighting is yuta seems to be leagues ahead of kashimo, ct kashimo in every hand to hand moment got wrecked like sukuna straight up smirks at his attempts and at one point as soon as kashimo got close was immediately sent away like nothing meanwhile with yuta he was actually able to lad a. Blow on sukuna which made sukuna stomach mouth actually grit his teeth for and rika wasn’t even fully summoned even since he puts on the ring afterwards so if yuta can keep up with kashimos speed which I think he’s been shown to do if not be faster I honestly think yuta wouldn’t need his domain to take down kashimo
Also, pre ts okkotsu doesnt have cleave and jacob's ladder, and his sure hit doesnt seem to spam attacks like sukuna's domain, as it only hits sukuna onece and the domain is broken before the next sure hit, so it has multiple seconds delay between the sure-hits. This means that the deadliest ct yuta can deploy to his domain is probably thin ice breaker which hits every few seconds, so even if kashimo releases hollowe wicked basket he should be fine
Hakari Dodge Misconception 1. He is either redirecting the charge to his arm 1a. Sukuna couldn’t dodge lightning so it’s unlikely unless the speed of charges and his electromagnetic abilities scale to CE usage 2. Charge was aimed at arm 2a. Kashimo doesn’t react to the dodge and instead immediately acts as though it was his plan to harm Hakari and then finish him
I think Kashimo should’ve had other applications for his technique and that would’ve been a super buff. Maybe he uses parts of his body as phenomena and shoots a lightning fingernail like fucking Johnny Joestar, or he tears out a part of his hand for a big attack.

Hey man great vid and analysis. One thing id like to correct is that Hakari didnt dodge the lightning and its just not the best panelling and there are a few reasons at to why: 1 - The lightning strike is literally described as a cant miss attack, it will not miss the intended target. 2- Kashimo began deciphering Hakaris RCT and came up with the strategy to explode the lightning in his head later throughout the chapters. That whole process makes no sense if he already went for a headshot on the first attack. 3- If Hakari was able to react and dodge a fatal headshot the first time he was even exposed to the attack, it makes no sense as to why he wouldnt just dodge it again later instead of risking to tank it, along with every other lightning attack that was landed. 4- Kashimo’s reaction to the attack clearly indicated that his intention was to blow his arm off and finish him off while he was reeling, as opposed to instantly killing him via headshot. But I agree with the placements and I too wish we saw more of Kashimos capabilities😢 Cant wait for more content from you!

If kashimo speedblitzes sendai yuta then he should speed blitz current yuta as well (*I don't think yuta got THAT much physically faster) I think kashimo's fight against jackpot hakari does show how strong and lethal he is even in base and ryu still loses to base kashimo (*I don't think he has rct and yeah, Kashimo's fast enough to dodge his attacks)
Look at gojo and sukuna the only time they use stuff like hallow wicker basket is when they can't use they're domain and when they can use they're domain its basically game over for anyone else
@@chiaki.hayakawa18 he can use HWB, but any anti-domain technique is ultimately a way if buying time. HWB leaves the user physically exposed to any attacks from the domain user, so it is only viable if you are sukuna and have an extra pair of arms to defend yourself with

Domains work just fine on toji and maki. What doesnt "work" is its simply not automatic. Right? Like toji wasnt immune to the fish in that domain, he was just overpowering them. So they can be hit, its just much harder. Like let's say maki was in mahitos domain. She wouldn't immediately drop dead, but if he managed to touch her with one of the giant hands, she'd still die.

And even if it's JUST then, like no one else they are helping or fighting with, they'd still need to break into the domain, to get at their opponents. Cause the domain is a physical barrier between them and the sorcerer. So they'd have to make a choice, wait it out I guess? Or go in and risk it. Like Toji did.

Whilst I love his character, I genuinely think Kashimo is massively overhyped both with and without his technique. Without it - whilst you could argue he is one of the best close combat fighters with his trait, strength speed and skill, the moment someone says "Domain Expansion", unless its a weak domain I don't see him winning. Hollow Wicker Basket? You have to keep up the hand seals, the sure hit of the domain just changes to a severe handicap. We've also never seen a domain counter actually work outside of casting your own, and even then each case is debatable. The moment pre skip Yuta, Ryu or whoever casts their domain, whilst not immediately game over, it is checkmate. And with his technique active - Kashimo can't beat anyone, best he can do is draw. Its like using self destruct with your last Pokemon, it doesn't matter how much damage it does - it can never win you a game.
Sukuna Gojo And as for Yuta after the time skip, hard to say. Pre time skip Yuta basically confirmed 20% Kashimo was better, but his power with his CT is too vague since Gege didn't give it time to shine and it's hard to see how he would counter post time skip Yuta's domain. He has hollow wicker basket and a mouth beam (pretending he'd use his CT), but I'd actually give the win to Yuta possibly. Namely because his hands would be tied when facing a domain (but the fact that he knows hollow wicker basket implies he's dealt with domains before). I think he sits comfortably at 4. Mostly because we just didn't see enough of him.

I think that’s the thing. Kashimo both hyped Hakari up by giving a great fight and visa versa, establishing both as really strong special grades. Which also established a baseline (that isn’t Gojo) for when he fought Sakuna. Kashimo was broadly equal to Hikari when amped up, thus we established that even weakened, Sakuna is far more dangerous then any other combatant.

Yep plus on top of this, pre time skip yuta stated hakari on a roll (which was the case against kashimo) was stronger than him (yuta). That and Gojo said 80% of a sorcerer's potency is based off their CT so basically 20% kashimo was dominating Hakari at full potential.
Hakari did not seriously damage him AND if it weren't for the immortality that hitting a jackpot grants him he would have died,as Kashimo did cause some fatal injuries to him like 4 times in the fight the only thing saving Hakari being his immortality.

Love that you made a video on this, many people reading this manga pretty much make fun of any character that loses, it's pretty grating. Mentioning that current Sukuna is just getting weaker and weaker is something most people can't even understand. Absolutely true that the Sukuna that fought Gojo was peak strength. Let's not forget that Yuta AND Yuji are fighting Sukuna, with every power up they got, and they're STILL losing AFTER he's fought Gojo, Kashimo, and the Higuruma/Yuji combo. He's losing power the entire time and exhausted his DE and RCT. Another thing people don't take into account is that Sukuna has only used dimensional slash on Kashimo the entire battle, whereas he has only just gotten a SINGLE one off on Yuta/Yuji and it devastates them. He sent an entire latice formation of dimensional slashes at Kashimo to be able to hit him, probably because of his immense speed. That had to have drained him after using a few other single stroke dimensional slashes, as well. People always bring up the DE as thought Kashimo doesn't know HYB and doesn't have an innate sure-hit technique completely outside of a DE requirement. On top of that, Kashimo is said many times to be at the height of speed and his strategy revolves around blitzing targets. Who's to say that he would even let most characters get off their hand formations to use their techniques and/or DE? The only one he's fought that he had trouble with was peak form Sukuna who can chant while fighting. People saying Okkotsu wipes the floor with Kashimo just don't comprehend the author's own statements on his strength. They make fun of Gojo like he didn't press Sukuna to his absolute limit and they make fun of Kashimo like he didn't go up against one of the only characters that can possibly withstand his lightning quick assault, not to mention Sukuna having a lightning relic to help negate Kashimo's innate lightning-infused CE. Finally, someone justifies Gege's own words of Kashimo being one of the strongest, THANK YOU. P.S. Keep coping haters, Gojo and Kashimo will always have been insanely strong, in this universe, to have ever existed. Sukuna is just capable of being stronger than even them.

Given that, you'd think Kashimo would be, like, an even stronger Kusakabe with total mastery of all the fundamental cursed energy manipulation abilities, but he doesn't seem to have RCT and the only barrier technique we see him use is Hollow Wicker Basket. Why would he use rct? The only injury he ever got in the manga, was a cut to his hand. Ryu has one of the best CE control in the series and he holds the highest CEO known in the series, so it's not that Kashimo's era was weak he just didn't fight anyone that really made him go all out. Kenjaku tells him to go fight Ryu but instead he chose to fight a heavily weakened Sukuna that could blitz him regardless.

I honestly knew he would die against Sukuna but i expected him to last a little more, that's all. Maybe 2/3 chapters as opposed to how he lasted 1 chapter and a half. I genuinely wanted to see more of his CT for how hyped it was, which for what was stated, is actually pretty op, it allows him to conjure ANY electricity/lightning related phenomena, the possibilities are near endless.

@@rjlandicho7593If "Sky Manipulation" makes you this untouchable then Uro would have never been in a 4 way deadlock. Neither Ryu, Druv or Kurorushi had a direct counter to her but were dangerous enough to threaten her.
His domain would allow Yuta to press Kashimo for a time yes but it wouldnt invalidate the charge up. Every part of his body can be used to charge his opponent up so even clashing in cqc with Kashimo is dangerous.
In theory this is correct but not even Sukuna could do that. Tanking is out of the question for Yuta if Hakari in Jackpot gets literaly limbs removed and brick sized holes appear on his abdomen. Healing is possible for most wounds but the time it would take for Yuta, who is tier below Sukunas and Gojos healing speed, would be nothing to sneeze at. Hakari could power through this because he is Hakari. No one else will be capable to do this to his extend.
Avoiding hits is possible as this isnt a missmatch but he will have to land hits and Kashimo will also land hits. Both of whitch are charging up his Lightning bolt.
In his "Phantom Beast Amber" state he can restracture his body with cursed energy. That is how he got his breath attack and reshaped his hand after he got hit by Sukunas "World Slash". In a way it may be more cost efficient than RCT as it isnt double the amount of normal CE.
Rika is the big factor in this fight that im not sure of. For the moment i say Kashimo can for the most part deal with it simply because his Cursed Energy makes it hard for opponents to touch him. Holding him is probably even harder. As for now we havent seen Fully Manifested Rika with Sukunas Finger so my oppinion on that might change.
Yutas "Cleave" is nothing compared to Sukunas. Even with lowerd control of his body and with the same amount of Cursed Energy as Yuta he only took slight flesh wounds on his head and one of eyes. Sukuna used the same "Cleave" shortly after and made Yujis upper chest area dissapear. Thats a clear difference in mastery if you ask me.
Well in the light of the new chapter i wouldnt say Sukuna couldnt but in this matchup there should be no speed blitz.

Yeah I think kashimo is above everyone too. Keep in mind after using his cursed technique he was fightning a stronger sukuna. Since by the time Yuta fights him he’s already been punched by yuji several times which lessen his cursed energy output each time.
And while most of jjk is matchup based Yuta comments on hakari being stronger than him when he’s on a roll (aka multiple jackpots) which kashimo fights and nearly wins. So he’s already high relative to a character stronger than Yuta and Yuta and hakari are stated equals post time skip.
So I don’t think there’s much basis for kashimo being weaker than either of them. It’s just easier for people to see Yuta winning because they are fighting a heavily weakened sukuna. So they can show more abilities off and aren’t just getting one shot

Gojo in every possible timeline puts Yuta and Hakari as equals, that's why there's the entire cast stating that Yuta is the stronger one. Gojo is simply unreliable and he's been proven to be wrong multiple times.

It's how the World Cutting Dismantle works you should be focused on. Sukuna has a binding vow where he HAS to do handsigns and chant "Twin Meteors", "Recoil", "Dragon Scales", after which, he lets off ONE World Cutting Dismantle, meaning the technique requires charge up and therefore is telegraphed, meaning he can't spam it willy-nilly. Therefore, it's impossible for even Sukuna to create a net of World Cutting Dismantle, especially in the span of time he yeeted Kashimo.

By the time he finishes making another, the one before has either hit or miss its target. What's likely is that Sukuna simply killed Kashimo with a net of maximum output dismantles.

I touched on hits very briefly in one of my viewer question videos but I just don't think Megumi is piloting Sukuna's body, but even if he was, I don't think he possesses the knowledge/skill to do the dimensional dismantle. In the same way Yuji couldn't just do cleave/dismantle automatically after Sukuna did it in his body.

Kashimo speed blitzes Yuta if he doesn’t hold back
Plus another thing I noticed is in terms of hand to hand or close quarters fighting is yuta seems to be leagues ahead of kashimo, ct kashimo in every hand to hand moment got wrecked like sukuna straight up smirks at his attempts and at one point as soon as kashimo got close was immediately sent away like nothing meanwhile with yuta he was actually able to lad a. Blow on sukuna which made sukuna stomach mouth actually grit his teeth for and rika wasn’t even fully summoned even since he puts on the ring afterwards so if yuta can keep up with kashimos speed which I think he’s been shown to do if not be faster I honestly think yuta wouldn’t need his domain to take down kashimo
Also, pre ts okkotsu doesnt have cleave and jacob's ladder, and his sure hit doesnt seem to spam attacks like sukuna's domain, as it only hits sukuna onece and the domain is broken before the next sure hit, so it has multiple seconds delay between the sure-hits. This means that the deadliest ct yuta can deploy to his domain is probably thin ice breaker which hits every few seconds, so even if kashimo releases hollowe wicked basket he should be fine
I feel once yuji gets a hang of that soul swapping ct and the blood manipulation he could win
Hakari Dodge Misconception
1. He is either redirecting the charge to his arm
1a. Sukuna couldn’t dodge lightning so it’s unlikely unless the speed of charges and his electromagnetic abilities scale to CE usage
2. Charge was aimed at arm
2a. Kashimo doesn’t react to the dodge and instead immediately acts as though it was his plan to harm Hakari and then finish him
I think Kashimo should’ve had other applications for his technique and that would’ve been a super buff. Maybe he uses parts of his body as phenomena and shoots a lightning fingernail like fucking Johnny Joestar, or he tears out a part of his hand for a big attack.

Hey man great vid and analysis. One thing id like to correct is that Hakari didnt dodge the lightning and its just not the best panelling and there are a few reasons at to why:
1 - The lightning strike is literally described as a cant miss attack, it will not miss the intended target.
2- Kashimo began deciphering Hakaris RCT and came up with the strategy to explode the lightning in his head later throughout the chapters. That whole process makes no sense if he already went for a headshot on the first attack.
3- If Hakari was able to react and dodge a fatal headshot the first time he was even exposed to the attack, it makes no sense as to why he wouldnt just dodge it again later instead of risking to tank it, along with every other lightning attack that was landed.
4- Kashimo’s reaction to the attack clearly indicated that his intention was to blow his arm off and finish him off while he was reeling, as opposed to instantly killing him via headshot.
But I agree with the placements and I too wish we saw more of Kashimos capabilities😢 Cant wait for more content from you!

Domains work just fine on toji and maki. What doesnt "work" is its simply not automatic. Right? Like toji wasnt immune to the fish in that domain, he was just overpowering them.

Whilst I love his character, I genuinely think Kashimo is massively overhyped both with and without his technique.
Without it - whilst you could argue he is one of the best close combat fighters with his trait, strength speed and skill, the moment someone says "Domain Expansion", unless its a weak domain I don't see him winning.
Hollow Wicker Basket? You have to keep up the hand seals, the sure hit of the domain just changes to a severe handicap. We've also never seen a domain counter actually work outside of casting your own, and even then each case is debatable.
The moment pre skip Yuta, Ryu or whoever casts their domain, whilst not immediately game over, it is checkmate.
And with his technique active - Kashimo can't beat anyone, best he can do is draw. Its like using self destruct with your last Pokemon, it doesn't matter how much damage it does - it can never win you a game.

Pre time skip Yuta basically confirmed 20% Kashimo was better, but his power with his CT is too vague since Gege didn't give it time to shine and it's hard to see how he would counter post time skip Yuta's domain. He has hollow wicker basket and a mouth beam (pretending he'd use his CT), but I'd actually give the win to Yuta possibly.
Namely because his hands would be tied when facing a domain (but the fact that he knows hollow wicker basket implies he's dealt with domains before). I think he sits comfortably at 4. Mostly because we just didn't see enough of him.

The second Yuta opens his Domain, Kashimo instantly loses his ability to punch because his hands are now stuck using Hollow Wicker Basket.
Kashimo’s sure hit lightning bolt can be tanked with strong enough CE Reinforcement, healed with RCT or just avoided entirely by not getting punched 4-5 times. Yuta can do all 3.
Yuta has the *2nd* highest CE output & capacity in all of JJK. And is a prodigy at RCT.
Unlike Yuta, Kashimo doesn’t have RCT to regenerate any damage he receives.
If Rika manages to get a hold of him for even a split second, he’s getting bisected in half with Cleave/Dismantle.
If Heian-Era Sukuna couldn’t speed blitz Base Yuta, Kashimo can also forget about that strategy.
