@Peter Funt This is not a bluff, I truly love your stuff, It helps when life feels tough, And I cannot thank you enough! This is all so true, The credit goes to you, The things you do, Can be done by very few. And if i may, I would like to say, Have a very lovely day!!
The many years has pass by When Candid Camera was dropped without a reasoning why The laughter and gags definitely bought a joyful tear to my eyes No network gave a green light for a renewal as of yet But I wanted to write this to get it off my chest So if anyone who like this show pls give a big thumbs up Or just give cheers while holding a drink in a cup 😂 Candid Camera I can't speak for all but I will gladly say Maybe one day I'll see a promo on the return of Candid Camera as we head for the mth of May.
Me too. I always look forward when I sit down to relax on a Sunday knowing I’ll see a new video. I still love a lot of them though that I’ve watched 50x.( license plate snd driveway tickets my 2 favorites)
It was a great "serious" moment in all the laughs! Even though he didn't recognise "Eleanor Rigby", he made a better point about poetry than if he had done so.
What's special about knowing the name of the Vice President? It's just trivia, no different than countless other bits of trivia that most people, including you, don't know.
It was actually "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening", not night. But I still have to give the woman full credit. I remember learning that poem in grade school and think I would have also been able to "Name That Tune" in about three notes. That doesn't mean I think I'm smart. I think it means the poem has that much impact and is that memorable. I give Robert Frost all the credit on it STILL being embedded in my brain.
@@susanseverance9683 You are correct. I focused on the title the woman stated which was "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Night". And that title is wrong and my correction to that title is correct. For some reason it didn't also strike me it was the title for the wrong poem entirely. I went to a public school. Perhaps I can use that for an excuse?
I was not exposed to poetry or literature in public school . . . and I went to a number of schools. Yet, I have read all of Shakespeare, Frost and many other poets. It is your responsibility to yourself. Currently reading fairy tales in French by Perrault . . . and French was not spoken at home and I did not have any French classes in grades 1-12. You just have to keep learning.
Peter Funt said they filmed this near a college campus to ensure that some of the people walking by would be familiar with Shakespeare and Robert Frost. (See his reply to @AmazingPhilippines)
Now I understand why Candid Camera is on TV no more. These days it's probable that not many would realize she's actually plagiarizing something classic. They may ask, did you get that from chatgpt?
Lots of American musicians copied the Beatles, the Beatles copied lots of American musicians, everyone copied William Shakespeare so really it's all a much a do about nothing.
The woman who said, "That's Robert Frost," After about two words,, was outstanding.. wow!
An outstanding loser
That’s Robert Frost. I knew his daughter. Game over.
Candid camera i like the most.
And Peter is the very best host.
Hes popular coast to coast.
Yet He doesn't ever boast.

Interesting that you found people who were familiar with Shakespeare.
We don't know why you're posting that, but maybe stop. Peter runs Candid Camera. Thanks.
I'm glad to see that most of the women know exactly what's going on and don't hesitate to say so.
These are some educated people on the street!
And some not so educated @ I do nails 😂
Anyway I loved the last guy who just started laughing. I couldn't help but join in
@@miss_sunshine25grow up. Will you?
Nice job!! This was another funny one!
Love the gal who gave Shakespeare a C or a D. 😂
The guy who said he didn't want to injure her expression because poetry is something pure was so lovely.

Oh please.
He sounded like someone who didn't have an opinion of his own .. sounded like a people pleaser. 😅
So cute…
Know in days you couldn’t do that people don’t even know the name of our vice president.

Actually, the correct poem is "The Road Not Taken", but Snowy Evening is a great poem, for sure.

Isn't it ironic?
@Karate. The verb should be a plural verb- not a singular verb because the word "skills" is plural- not singular.
@@lynettepalecek3141 Thanks. I thought of that afterwards and decided to leave my comment flawed since I’m in the Generation Z group. 😃❤️
