I was born in the province of Buenos Aires and lived 15 years in Cordoba. Had a cabane at El Bolson in Patagonia also with some land.

I hope you do get the chance to visit! I think most Argentines understand that was a war that was fought almost 4 decades ago, and that the average British tourist in Argentina is just there to visit. I backpacked with an English friend across Argentina 10+ years ago now, and she didn't have any troubles in that regard. In some destinations you may come across street names or signs that read 'Malvinas Argentinas', but that's all, no one is looking for trouble.
