Our buckle tongues look different and don’t really fit easily into the side loops, 1:41

I still don't get it how this type of rear facing seat can be safe up to 4 years of age while the kid in the video rests her feet on the car's backrest and her knees are bent. These seats provide awfully little leg room.

Hi there! We understand your concern, as parents often feel their little ones might be uncomfortable rearfacing! But most children will naturally find a position that is comfortable for them, and many rearface up to 4 or even well beyond in countries like Sweden where extended rearfacing is very common.
And while the legs tend to be a primary concern, there are actually more leg injuries when kids are forward facing vs. rearward. When forward facing in an impact, the legs can fly forward, hitting the back of the front seat and causing injury. If you're interested, we have more information at www.joiebaby.com/lookbacklonger.en/ !

"and her knees are bent" thats even more secure as they can better absorb impact while bent and not stretched.

What about the top tether? Isn't it needed even with the leg support?

This is exactly what I was thinking! Wouldn’t you have 4 year old facing forward tho

@@tomsammons6480 forward facing when your head weighs up to 25 percent of your body weight can lead to internal decapitation in an accident, so no, probably not. Axkid have some very informative UA-cam videos on why extended rearward facing is safer, in Sweden its not unusual to have a child rearward facing until age 6.
