Fyi for Hoshi's line "My determination to become 'a star' is the only thing that remained". The way 'Star' in japanese is 'Hoshi' and they made him sing that line 😭💞💞💞💞💞💞💞

I am the only One to think that Jun really found his "flow" after his music "Limbo" ? I mean his charism is so class and chic I love it so much.
I think he had it during Hot too.
tbh i think jun gained a lot of confidence after filming his drama!
this is just me speculating, but i think members like him and dk who seem to have started out with lower self esteem needed to cement themselves as being capable by doing solo work. like they needed to prove to themselves and everyone around them that they can fulfill responsibilities only they can do outside of being a seventeen member. not to say that they didn’t perform well prior to jun’s drama or dk’s musical, but that they now feel like they’re flourishing
@@emuemuemuemuemu I so agree with you! Just like how DK had such a great confidence transformation after his musical. He was so perfect for that role. Jun seems more confident now than when he did the Chinese performance show with Minghao.

The production for “Dream” was absolutely stunning like the scenery looked absolutely amazing with the galaxy-like theme! SVT’s Japanese songs always hittin’ so when you reaction to more of their JP songs you’ll see how absolutely amazing each one is! 💕

This song really feels like a dream. They all look and sound so dreamy😍

The “I met you in my dream” part is about meeting carats (who help them make their dreams come true) and/or about each other meeting (achieving these dreams together). That also ties in with Wonu’s part about never having seen a star that didn’t shine - they have always said that Carats looks like stars and their concerts is the sea of stars because of carats with their caratbong so Wonu’s line refer to everyone of us being unique and bright and special.
It’s definitely a song that’s very personal to them. Like when Cheol says he’s drawing his dream in a sketchbook, you can see he’s holding a sketchbook with a drawing of 13 of them on stage (cheol also always said that his biggest dream is to be on stage with the members for a long long time).
All the spaces and stars and galaxy aesthetic are the reference to Woozi’s studio “Universe Factory” that has a starry ceiling- the place they work on their dreams.
Darling, HOT, World and Dream are part of their “Team SVT” project- a project that are related to their journey as a group which include Carats too.
SVT lyricism have always have multiple layers that most of the time only Carats who have been paying close attention to their lyrics and discography can understand the lyrics on spot. Thats why at first their song seem like a love song (not necessarily romantic, can be friendship, family etc) but at the same time its about something different. And we all OG carats know that SVT mostly sings about either their youth, about each other or about carats 😂❤. Even so, they make it work well. Everyone can listen to it and can relate to it with their own things. At the end of the day, eventho they explain their point of view and intentions behind the song, they will say “but its up to the listener own interpretation, we leave a room for your own imagination” eventually and i love them for that!

definitely agree that they draw u in bc i have a couple of songs that when i first heard i was like ?? but then i caught myself singing to them i'll be washing the dishes and going "game game game game game game game boyyyy" and i dont have one single song from their entire discography (which is like,, over 150 songs, and if we include solo and unit releases like bss and mingyu/wonu..) that i can say "i dont like it" like i genuinely like every single song they have ever released which is INSANE bc theyre so MANY and so MANY GENRES AND INFLUENCES

Yes, I get what you mean about Seventeen songs. I liked Ash right away and I don't like autotune. I still play it. I did not vibe with Hot or Cheers. I tend to like their B sides. _World is a favourite too. I do like this song a lot. The chorus is really good because DK and Seungkwan kill it. Fallen Flower is also a favourite Japanese song.
