You were right on not giving up, i am getting better quite quickly at the moment. My paintings are into a level now that i can sell them. I still use acrylic paint, but good news is that seems like water mixable oil is becoming more common here so maybe some day i could try water mixable oil.
Yes...perseverance is absolutely necessary to make it in the art world...with enough dedication everything is possible :-)))
@@brennerfineart I originally wanted to paint with oils, because they are easier to use and often look better than acrylics, but i have managed to find a way to make my acrylic paintings look more like oils (i even use student grade paints)
I thought it will take many years to get into your level, but ended up being way easier than i thought.

This is water mixable oil colour - but I solely use linseed oil to thin down the colour...sounds absolutely stupid, I know :-))) But with water the colour gets a terrible consistence and they dry SO extremely quickly that I truly have trouble blending the colours before they are too dry to do so.

This here is an older video...I was back then around 4, 5 Kg lighter than today...I started to lift weights again since then and I also started to eat a bit better...back then I did starve myself kind of a bit...not wanting to gain fat but I overdid it...I also did not really consistently worked out...so I looked a bit starved...now I feel MUCH better now :-)
