Love these style of videos (to be fair, I love all of the videos you put out). It's really helpful to hear you discuss what you're trying to accomplish in terms of feel, the steps you took to get there, and the things that worked well. As a new racer that doesn't get to the track much, it's easy for me to get into a rut just trying to get as many laps in as possible and not wanting to take the time (or knowing which way to go) to make changes. Definitely have some ideas to try next time out at the track now!

Nice track setup, excellent grip, looks like it was great to race on 👍 Appreciate that you talk about setup, the changes you make and WHY!!! Gives all the racers out there something to think about, regardless of what brand they are running! Great job!
The 2 wheel car, you definitely put in a lot of work and thought to get that car handling close to the way you wanted and it paid off. You can tell that you had to be on top of knowing what the car was good at and it what it wasn't, but you got consistency out of it and that will always give you a chance at pulling off a win.
I raced dirt, asphalt, concrete, and carpet oval racing in many different classes and cars over my ten years of sponsorship racing when I was in my late teens to early twenties. I didn't always have the fastest car, but my wins were from setting up a car that I was comfortable driving and keeping how my lap times very consistent.
Nice driving Ryan. The four wheel looked like it was handling pretty well, but the Associated driver's car appeared to be on point with it's setup.
Anything can happen in the A-main. I once qualified third and honestly expected to get second or third in a carpet oval championship race in 1990 (it was how we placed every qualifier, the top four of us were all in the same heat and we just repeated our runs heat after heat, I think there was only a few tenths of a second between all of four of us). Start of the A Main of a ten car field four minute race, the TQ in front of me got sideways on the start, clipped my team mate in second and I got inside and took the lead in the first corner and never looked back afterwards. I think I had a half lap to three quarter lap lead over second place by the end of the run and I had a lap on the rest of the field. Everything just clicked from the motor choice, to gearing, to battery pairing, to the car setup, and my driving. I managed to get everything right that race and with a little luck at the start and my team mate next to me talking to me and keeping me calm throughout the run I managed to pull off a win. Felt like the longest four minutes of my life :)

Ryan do you always run a 13.5T motor with your 4wd buggy, and 17.5 with your 2wd buggy, because I just bought a trinity 17.5 T slot machine motor and a Xerun XR10 pro generation 160Amp esc passion red.
And I planned on putting it into a TRL 22X-4D Elite 4wd buggy, So will that mess up me racing in stock class, I guess what I'm asking is 13.5 motor for 4wd buggy?,
And 17.5 motor for 2wd buggy?
Shame about that 4WD race. You had the faster car through the middle, and through the chicane onto the straight. You backed off to race clean, and that cost you the rhythm, and made you come up short. Proof positive, no good deed goes unpunished.
Dustin is a good dude and definitely didn’t want to wreck him so I went in the marbles and had no drive going into the rhythm. I’ll get him next time 😎

Any tips on how to prevent air getting into the shocks?
I bleed them so that its completely filled with oil (With the shaft about halfway through the travel) but after a couple of days sitting up on a stand there's some air at the top of the stroke.
Question... maybe this was answered but why did you pick 1:10 scale over 1:8 scale. I'm new to RC hobby and live in the Tampa area. I like the idea of racing rc cars but unsure over 1:8 or 1:10 scale

I don't know if Sway Bars alone would have fixed the roll over, you might need to adjust the roll center as well

whoa what was up with the marshall advancing that car 2 or 3 turns and placing him back in front of you guys. that shit is annoying
2wd looks dialed but 4wd is losing time in the mid corner and abit more mid corner rotation would get the car alot faster.

As a UK racer who races Astro and carpet these tracks that are high grip in America always look low grip and slippy to me 😂

No, that's another one. There are 2 Marshall's at the same time. A bit busy to see. Look at the different colors of the cars. Not sayin those things don't ever happen though.

Going over the table top to flat your car looks super composed. Anytime I land on flat mine bounces like a ping pong ball unless I land on the throttle. But when there's an immediate sweeper and I land on the throttle the car tumbles as I turn in...
After writing my comment I finished watching the video and saw your mention of vrp pistons/composure landing to flat....so maybe I'll give those a try. Nice talk 😶

The marshall put the other guy back on the wrong side of the track right in traffic lolll marshalls should make sure to not ruin another guys race just to hurry for a guy that crashed.. the guy crashed thats his problem, not the other racers problem..
