I don't even have CS 6 but I can still manage learning a few things from your stuff. You have the best, consistent tutorials out there. I always start with you first.
That 'smart selection' demonstration was such an eye opener for me. Not to mention an incredible time save. I've been using the magic wand for far too long. I got so many things out of your tutorial, thank you.
Long time follower here, just saying the obvious.. great tutorial, not only teaching how to make a pin up style poster in photoshop, but you also teaching us best practices and great workarounds that applicable to most of things in photoshop. Nicely done sir.
I was actually just wondering if it would be possible to easily (well, relatively speaking) create a WWII pin-up style with Photoshop, and then I stumbled upon this gem. You, sir, are a master. I can't wait to try this out!
Man, thanks a lot for a comprehensive tutorial! The best thing about this video is that despite you're showing a specific technique, you don't forget about the basics which is very essential for novices. And what's more valuable is that you describe your every step in words and you don't try to skip the basic steps like "Now I'll do that, but I'm not going to talk about that because you should already know that..." Thanks again!
It's incredible how photography is important in Photoshop. I'm 21 and I'm working in this software since 13 years old. Photography is still a dilema when I want to create something from scratch. Great tutorial, you make it look so easy! Also, great voice.
Last couple of videos are great! I really like these more-in-depth style tutorials. They are unique and original (sometimes those straightforward tutorials on specific effects/tools can be a bit boring, so this is a fresh change of pace) and yet specific enough to teach us how to use these effects on different projects. Great job, Howard! :D
Thanks for the detailed tutorials. Really appreciate your gift and your giving/sharing. I purchased CS6 and had/have no idea what to do with it. I'm new to this world of editing, but you have helped me tremendously. Again, thank you so much and Happy Holidays:)
I really love your videos.... I'm working a lot with photshop but everytime I watch one of your videos I learn something new. Thanks und keep up the good work :)
This is actually pretty awesome. I was actually looking for a way to make an image have that oldish pinup like look but I just couldn't get it. I knew there was a need to desaturate and add noise but didn't think to add a poster edge filter. Thank You.
Great tutorial! I like that you explained the relevance and significance of each step, so we can extract our own technique in dealing with our own pictures. More tutorials should do this :)
I absolutely love your non-destructive editing. To anyone who does not get why he does this: Imagine spending 6 hours working on a picture for someone, and they look at it and say 'can you bring the highlights up just a little?' with this method, it takes 10 seconds. without these methods, it could mean another 6 hours.
your teaching style is excellent. i have to say, i laughed when you said "before you start adding filters like a wild person". that would be me. thanks for all the tutorials. fran
Yeh.. Ow well I'm already glad that someone is working with non-destructive editing. I'm doing loads with design and it pains me to see people erase images while it's better to work with masks. So I thaught them that, in a small presentation :p Again nice tutorial. Keep them coming
This is what I mean!!! Simple process, easy to understand, straight to point. and very clear explanation!! Love all your tutorial.
I don't even have CS 6 but I can still manage learning a few things from your stuff. You have the best, consistent tutorials out there. I always start with you first.

Quite a weird feeling to learn so much from a randomly found video after being a graphic designer since 6 years... Awesome tutorial.
Long time follower here, just saying the obvious.. great tutorial, not only teaching how to make a pin up style poster in photoshop, but you also teaching us best practices and great workarounds that applicable to most of things in photoshop.
Nicely done sir.
WHY HAVE I NOT BEEN WATCHING THESE. They are so useful for my College work.
It is your subtleties and attention to detail that make you a great designer. That is why I am subscribed to you...keep it up!
