Im a big proponent of having a pair of gloves always. Keep at least one pair in my vehicle. Even a reusable cloth grocery bag could haul the gear plus be able to add in a small travel blanket. Small sterno cans from the party work well

Sterno is a solid idea. But if kept in your car make sure they are upright, especially when it gets hot. Gloves are a must in my everyday kit, the dollar tree had some but they were too small so I passed them up. But it’s a good point and something to keep my eye out for.

@@brokenbushcraft if I do have a Sterno can ( winter only) I also place it in a ziplock bag to contain spills if any. Dollar tree has an ebb and flow on their gloves, I've gotten really good ones there, bright yellow w/ grippers were my favorite but have switched to the knock off pair that most delivery drivers use. I've only found those in one store one time.

@@cablegirl90 I found out the hard way about the sterno. Ziplocks are also a good item to have in a kit. Good for storage or first aid.
