How can i play this Native American?
Imagine RDR2 or RDO was just a mix of fun gameplay possibilities like this.
Ride to the fort in the open world, go to the side activities circle not tied to the story, then you can start a raid, save prisoner, or survival, at any time, with full control of the settings, weather, NPCs, loadouts, player invites etc
And they did this in lots of places of interest, and I mean activites like the entire concept of Left 4 Dead, you had to get to the saferooms to progress through maps, while being stopped by the enemy.
..same could be done with any game, even in RDO
Load players in made maps, heck even open world
works, have them fight their way to saferooms, getting closer to the finish where ever the random spot is chosen to reach safety, while items and healths spawn in random locations as you progress forward with fun gameplay, add lots of dialogue for characters as you interact with the world, so every new play-through of the side content feels new...
but then you also have the boring yet really
good story mode we got...
Idk why they cant make fun things, not tied to the story or reality of the game world

Only when its mandatory and forced its not fun, if it was just optional side activities not tied to anything important in-game, it should be in the game, for fun, more variety for everyone to play
Everyone agrees that Saint's Row 1 and 2's insurance fraud side activity was very fun, yet it had nothing to do with the seriousness(or lack of) of the world, or story, it was just a fun video gamey side activity with rewards
I feel like that's getting rarer as more companies don't want to experiment with their games
