I was having difficulties understanding how to do these equations (mostly due to the fact that they are letters mostly and not numbers which made it extremely difficult to comprehend) however after watching your video I am now doing them with ease and have realize how extremely easy they actually are. Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video available. I watched other videos related to this however this is the one that did it for me. Thanks again! Liked and Subscribed! Dennis, if you are adding two negative numbers for example: -4 + -7 Think in terms of money and this will help you create your own thought process. If you were 4 dollars in debt and then added seven dollars of debt to that, now you would be eleven dollars in debt. So, when adding these two negative numbers you add their absolute values first which are 4 + 7 is 11. Then you put the negative sign back on your answer because because they shared that common sign. Hope this helps.
Thanks for this, I agree with kloproses, the square root/squared ones are the really hard one. It comes up in Maths and Physics, knowing how to do these can be very versatile.
Yes, you sure could!! It's in many ways easier that way. Some people have trouble seeing how nice it is to move the variable from one side to the other so that it's coefficient is positive; therefore you wouldn't have to divide and be thinking about fractions. Thanks for your comment; sorry I didn't reply sooner.
this was a great help, now I finally getting the hang of changing the subject but I would like for you to show me one of the more difficult ones with the square root, but you're awsome
I am in year 9 and i was faced with rearranging formulas which was extremely hard from my perspective. This has helped a lot. Actually it helped more than the actual maths teacher. I will definitely improve my grades now.
Lol. Bitch I'm saltier than a French fry swimming in the sea. OOOOH OOOOOH TWELVIE BEEF! You only diss other games cos you're only allowed to play mongcraft until 6:30 then it's bedtime for little RJ. You want a bwankie here ill tuck you in.
the term there is 1/2bh, which also means 1/2 times b times h. When you multiply 2 to 1/2, you are also multiplying it with b and h, because they are the same term!
I want to thank you for all you do. It's been a long time since I had to do this. I would not be able to help my son if it wasn't for you. You make if so easy. Thank you.
Bless you for this video because it's astonishing just how many people who went through our educational system and are clueless of the concepts.

The 7:45 mark had us baffled for a moment! LOL Thank you so much for posting! It's a well taught video!
Your videos are way better than Salman Khan's from Khan Academy. You're a great teacher.

This is a great video, there not many good teachers out there, or atleast give thought into how to explain things .

This video is really good!
Thank you! Your videos are very easy to understand; they are really helping me. Thanks again.
This video helped me a lot! liked and subbed
Good stuff !!!
for the y = q -x wouldnt you be able to rearrange it for x = q -y instead of creating a fraction? add x to both side then subtract y from both sides?
Thank you, very helpful indeed!
For example,
w=u+at2 (the 2 is an exponent)
wow excellent teacher
Very helpful, Thanks!
Thank you for this video...
thanks! very well explained!
I have a math exam tomorrow and just gonna say this i doubt i'll ever use this in my every day life
in the last equation did you have to end up with 2A or you could just say A/1/2h=b? just asking
great teacher
Thank you this is going to help me in my maths test!
Very helpful TY
your really helpful thanks
Thank you!
Thank You! This was really helpful 😊
Cheers!
I am little confused... Why did we only multiply the base and area by 2 and not the height?
ur a genuis!!
Very good! Thank you!!! ; P
thank you
thanks
you are awsome (: thanks
Why can't my math teacher make this much sense?
why can't my teacher teach like you brb sobbing

It has been causing me such a headache
lol I cant believe im watching this being in third year bachelor of science......things you forget.. lol
